Bible verses about "acceptance" | RKJNT

Colossians 3:12-14

12 Therefore, as the chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; 13 Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another. If any man has a complaint against another; just as Christ forgave you, so you do the same. 14 And above all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

1 Timothy 5:8

8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

Matthew 6:25-32

25 Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Behold the birds of the air: they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 Which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to the span of his life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they do not toil, nor do they spin: 29 And yet I say to you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O men of little faith? 31 Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? 32 After all these things the Gentiles seek: but your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

John 6:37

37 All those whom the Father gives me shall come to me; and he who comes to me I will by no means cast out.

Matthew 7:1-29

1 Judge not, that you may not be judged. 2 For in the manner you judge, you shall be judged: and with the measure you use, it shall be measured to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, Let me pull the speck out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first remove the beam from your own eye; and then you shall see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. 6 Do not give that which is holy to dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. 7 Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you: 8 For every one who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you, whom, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him? 12 Therefore, all things that you would have men do for you, do for them: for this is the law and the prophets. 13 Enter in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there are who enter in by it: 14 But small is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there are who find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a bad tree brings forth bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire. 20 Therefore, by their fruits you shall know them. 21 Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name cast out devils? and in your name done many miracles? 23 And then I will declare to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you who work iniquity. 24 Therefore, whoever hears these words of mine, and does them, will be like a wise man, who built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it did not fall: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one who hears these words of mine, and does not do them, is like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching: 29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

2 John 1:10-11

10 If anyone comes to you, and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, or give him any encouragement: 11 For he who encourages him is a partaker in his evil deeds.

2 Timothy 4:1-2

1 I solemnly charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all patience and instruction.

Romans 15:7

7 Therefore welcome one another, as Christ welcomed us to the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 5:11

11 But now I write to you not to keep company with any man who is called a brother if he is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an swindler; with such a one do not even eat.
