¹³ Enter in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction; and many are they who go in thereat. ¹⁴ For strait is the gate, and narrow the way, that leadeth to life; and few are they who find it.

¹⁹ Repent therefore and turn from your ways, that your sins may be blotted out, in order that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, ²⁰ and that he may send forth Christ Jesus, who was before appointed for you; ²¹ whom heaven indeed must receive until the times of a restoration of all things; of which times God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from the days of old.

¹⁰ The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I came that they might have life, and have abundance.

¹¹ And this, since we know the time, that it is already high time for us to awake out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we became believers.

⁹ But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for a possession, that ye may show forth the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light; ¹⁰ who once were not a people, but are now the people of God; who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

¹⁰ For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.

¹⁸ the eyes of your mind being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope belonging to his call of you, and what the riches of the glory of the inheritance which he hath given among the saints,

²⁰ Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

¹³ I can do all things in him who strengtheneth me.
