Matthew 16:15-19

15 He saith to them, But who do ye say that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answering said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answering said to him, Blessed art thou, Simon, son of Jonah; for flesh and blood did not reveal it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I on my part say to thee, that thou art Peter, a rock, and on this rock will I build my church, and the gates of the underworld shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever thou shalt bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and whatever thou shalt loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 9:6-8

6 But that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority on earth to forgive sins, then he saith to the palsied man,Arise, take up thy bed, and go to thy house. 7 And he arose, and went away to his house. 8 And when the multitudes saw it, they were struck with fear, and gave glory to God, who had given such power to men.

John 20:19-23

19 When therefore it was evening on that day, which was the first day of the week, and the doors where the disciples were had been shut for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace be to you! 20 And having said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 Then he said to them again, Peace be to you! As the Father hath sent me, I also send you. 22 And having said this, he breathed on them, and saith to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 Whosever sins ye remit, they are remitted to them; whosever ye retain, they are retained.

Acts 2:38-39

38 But Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized to the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Romans 2:6-8

6 who will render to every one according to his works; 7 everlasting life to those who by patient continuance in welldoing seek for glory, and honor, and incorruption; 8 but to those who are contentious, and disobedient to the truth; but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and indignation. 9 Tribulation and distress will be upon every soul of man whose works are evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace, to every one whoso works are good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 2:6-16

6 who will render to every one according to his works; 7 everlasting life to those who by patient continuance in welldoing seek for glory, and honor, and incorruption; 8 but to those who are contentious, and disobedient to the truth; but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and indignation. 9 Tribulation and distress will be upon every soul of man whose works are evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace, to every one whoso works are good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without a law, will also perish without a law; and as many as have sinned under a law, will be judged by a law, 13 for it is not the hearers of a law who are righteous before God, but the doers of a law will be accounted righteous; 14 for when the gentiles, who have no law, do by nature what is required by the Law, these, having no law, are a law to themselves; 15 since they show that what the Law requireth is written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts in turn accusing or defending them; 16 in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to the gospel which I have preached.

James 2:20-24

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is idle? 21 Was not Abraham our father accepted as righteous through works, when he offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Thou seest that faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness;" and he was called the friend of God. 24 Ye see that by works a man is accounted as righteous, and not by faith only. 25 And in like manner was not also Rahab the harlot accounted as righteous through works, when she received the messengers, and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

Philippians 2:12-13

12 So then, my beloved, as ye always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

1 Corinthians 7:10-11

10 But to those who are married it is my command, yet not mine, but the Lords: Let not the wife separate herself from her husband, 11 and if she have separated herself let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband; and let not the husband put away his wife.

1 Corinthians 7:7-8

7 I would that all men were as I myself; but every one hath his own gift from God, one man this, and another that. 8 I say also to the unmarried and the widows, it is good for them to remain as I am;

1 Corinthians 7:32-34

32 and I would have you free from anxious cares. He that is unmarried careth about the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; 33 but he that is married careth about the things of the world, how to please his wife. 34 There is a difference also between a wife and a virgin; the unmarried woman careth about the things of the Lord, to be holy, both in body and in spirit; but she that is married careth about the things of the world, how to please her husband.

2 Thessalonians 2:15

15 So then, brethren, stand firm, and hold fast the traditions which ye were taught by us, whether by word, or by our letter.

2 Thessalonians 3:6

6 Now we charge you, brethren, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us.

1 Corinthians 11:1-2

1 Follow my example, as I do that of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things ye remember me, and hold fast the instructions, as I delivered them to you.
