¹¹ And it came to pass, as he was going to Jerusalem, that he was traveling on the confines of Samaria and Galilee. ¹² And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten lepers, who stood afar off. ¹³ And they lifted up their voice, saying, Jesus, Master, have pity on us. ¹⁴ And when he saw them, he said to them, Go, show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they were on their way, they were cleansed. ¹⁵ And one of them, perceiving that he was freed from his disease, turned back, giving glory to God with a loud voice; ¹⁶ and he fell down on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him; and he was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? Where are the nine? ¹⁸ Were there none found returning to give glory to God but this foreigner? ¹⁹ And he said to him, Rise and go; thy faith hath made thee well.

¹² Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.]

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and no longer do I live, but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

¹ Brethren, even if a man be detected in a fault, do ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

¹⁷ Charge those who are rich in this world that they be not highminded, nor place their hope in uncertain riches, but in God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, ¹⁸ that they be rich in good works, liberal in imparting, willing to communicate, ¹⁹ laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the true life.

⁶ Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God; ⁷ and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

²⁸ For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as also some of your own poets have said: "For we are also his offspring."

²⁸ Wherefore receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear.

¹⁸ in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus in regard to you.
