² Give to Jehovah the glory his name deserves. Worship Jehovah in his holy splendor.

¹ Oh come, let us sing to Jehovah. Let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. ² Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms. ³ For Jehovah is a great God, and a great King above all gods. ⁴ Deep places of the earth are in his hand. The strength of the mountains is also His. ⁵ The sea is his. He made it and his hands formed the dry land. ⁶ Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Jehovah our maker.

⁸ Jesus answered: »It is written, you shall worship Jehovah your God and him only shall you serve.« (Deuteronomy 6:13-15; 10:12; 10:20) (Exodus 20:3-5)

¹⁵ Let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God through him [Jesus], that is, the fruit of lips that make confession (give thanks and offer praise) to his name.

²⁸ Let us be thankful, because we will receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship (serve) (intensely adore) God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe.

⁵ »Sing to Jehovah, for he has done glorious things. Let this be known to the entire world.

²³ »But the hour comes and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father with spirit and truth. The Father seeks such people to worship him.

¹⁴ Above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection and unity. ¹⁵ Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. You were called in one body for this purpose. You be thankful. ¹⁶ Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you with all wisdom. Teach and admonish one another with psalms, praises to God, and spiritual songs. Sing with gratitude in your hearts to God. ¹⁷ Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Give thanks to God the Father through him.

¹ I request (urge) (implore) you brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

⁶ Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Jehovah our maker.

²⁴ »God is a Spirit. They who worship him must worship him with spirit and truth.«
