¹⁶ »Do not (lie) accuse anyone falsely.

²⁸ Do not witness against your neighbor without cause. Do not deceive with you lips.

⁵ A false witness will not go unpunished. The liar will not escape.

⁴⁴ »You are from your father [Satan] the Devil (slanderer) (false accuser)! You want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning. He does not stand for the truth. ¹⁶ Jehovah hates these six things: Yes, seven are an abomination to him: ¹⁷ A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, ¹⁸ A heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that run quickly to badness, ¹⁹ A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brothers.
