⁷ »Is there anyone here engaged to be married? If so, he should go home. Otherwise, if he is killed in battle, someone else will marry the woman he is engaged to.

When I became an adult I did away with childish things. ¹² For now we see in a mirror dimly, and then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. ¹³ Faith, hope and love remain. These three! The greatest of these is love!

³ »Will two walk together, except they cooperate (collaborate) (have an agreement)?

⁹ »That which God has joined together let not man take apart (separate).«

¹⁹ »I will engage you to me for a very long time! Yes I will engage you to me in righteousness, and in justice, and in loving kindness, and in mercies. ²⁰ »I will even engage you to me in faithfulness. Then you will know Jehovah.

¹⁴ Above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection and unity.

⁹ Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor.
