Bible verses about "morning" | NHEB

Job 1:5

5 It was so, when the days of their feasting had run their course, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, "It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts." Job did so continually.

Psalms 91:11

11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

Psalms 90:14

14 Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Isaiah 50:4-5

4 The LORD has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. 5 The Lord GOD has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward.

Hosea 6:4

4 "Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.

Galatians 5:1

1 Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Proverbs 3:1-35

1 My son, do not forget my teaching; but let your heart keep my commandments: 2 for length of days, and years of life, and peace, will they add to you. 3 Do not let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. 4 So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: 10 so your storehouses will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. 11 My son, do not despise the discipline of the LORD, nor resent his correction. 12 For whom the LORD loves he disciplines, and punishes every son he accepts. 13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding. 14 For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her, and those who hold on to her are blessed 19 By wisdom the LORD founded the earth. By understanding, he established the heavens. 20 By his knowledge, the depths were broken up, and the skies drop down the dew. 21 My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22 so they will be life to your soul, and grace for your neck. 23 Then you shall walk in your way securely, and your foot won't stumble. 24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. 25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear, or of the storm of the wicked when it comes: 26 for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken. 27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you," when you have it by you. 29 Do not devise evil against your neighbor, seeing he dwells securely by you. 30 Do not strive with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm. 31 Do not envy the man of violence. Choose none of his ways. 32 For the perverse is an abomination to the LORD, but his friendship is with the upright. 33 The LORD's curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the habitation of the righteous. 34 Surely he is scornful to scoffers, but he gives grace to the humble. 35 The wise will inherit glory, but shame will be the promotion of fools.

John 1:1-51

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and apart from him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of humanity. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn't overcome it. 6 There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light. 9 The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, but the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to his own, and those who were his own did not receive him. 12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name, 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John testified about him and shouted out, saying, "This was the one of whom I said, 'He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.'" 16 For of his fullness we all received, and grace upon grace. 17 For the Law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only Son, who is at the Father's side, has made him known. 19 And this is John's testimony, when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, "Who are you?" 20 And he confessed, and did not deny, but he confessed, "I am not the Christ." 21 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No." 22 They said therefore to him, "Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?" 23 He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way of the Lord,' as Isaiah the prophet said." 24 (Now they had been sent from the Pharisees.) 25 And they asked him, "Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?" 26 John answered them, saying, "I baptize in water, but among you stands one whom you do not know. 27 He is the one who comes after me, whose sandal strap I'm not worthy to loosen." 28 These things were done in Bethany across the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day, he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me, because he existed before me.' 31 I did not know him, but for this reason I came baptizing in water: that he would be revealed to Israel." 32 And John testified, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending like a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him. 33 And I did not recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, 'On whomever you will see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, this is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.' 34 And I have seen and have testified that this is the Chosen One of God." 35 Again, the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples, 36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked, and said, "Look, the Lamb of God." 37 And the two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. 38 And Jesus turned and saw them following, and said to them, "What are you looking for?" They said to him, "Rabbi" (which translated means Teacher), "where are you staying?" 39 He said to them, "Come, and you will see." They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon. 40 One of the two who heard John, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah." (which is translated, Christ). 42 He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him, and said, "You are Simon the son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which is translated, Peter). 43 On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, "Follow me." 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and the Prophets wrote: Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." 46 And Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see." 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said about him, "Look, a true Israelite in whom there is no deceit." 48 Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you." 49 Nathanael answered him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God. You are King of Israel." 50 Jesus answered him, "Because I told you, 'I saw you underneath the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater things than these." 51 And he said to him, "Truly, truly, I tell you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."
