1 The heavens and the earth were finished, and all their vast array. 2 On the sixth day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work which he had created and made. 4 This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens. 5 No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was not a man to till the ground, 6 but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground. 7 The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8 The LORD God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 Out of the ground the LORD God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the middle of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. 10 A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four branches. 11 The name of the first is Pishon; this is the one which goes around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12 and the gold of that land is good. There is aromatic resin and the onyx stone. 13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it goes around the whole land of Cush. 14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel; this is the one which flows east of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Perath. 15 The LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it; for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die." 18 The LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." 19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the livestock, and to all the birds of the sky, and to every wild animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper suitable for him. 21 The LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 He made the rib, which the LORD God had taken from the man, into a woman, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said, "This at last is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called Woman, because this one was taken out of Man." 24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 25 They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

20 And God said, "Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of sky." And it was so.
11 for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the seventh day, and made it holy.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.
23 When he began, Jesus was about thirty years old, being the son, as was supposed, of Joseph, of Eli, 24 of Matthat, of Levi, of Melchi, of Janna, of Joseph, 25 of Mattithiah, of Amos, of Nahum, of Hesli, of Naggai, 26 of Mahath, of Mattithiah, of Shimei, of Joseph, of Judah, 27 of Johanan, of Rhesa, of Zerubbabel, of Shealtiel, of Neri, 28 of Melchi, of Addi, of Cosam, of Elmodam, of Er, 29 of Jose, of Eliezer, of Jorim, of Matthat, of Levi, 30 of Simeon, of Judah, of Joseph, of Jonan, of Eliakim, 31 of Maleah, of Menan, of Mattathah, of Nathan, of David, 32 of Jesse, of Obed, of Boaz, of Salmon, of Nahshon, 33 of Amminadab, of Ram, of Hezron, of Perez, of Judah, 34 of Jacob, of Isaac, of Abraham, of Terah, of Nahor, 35 of Serug, of Reu, of Peleg, of Eber, of Shelah, 36 of Kenan, of Arpachshad, of Shem, of Noah, of Lamech, 37 of Methuselah, of Enoch, of Jared, of Mahalalel, of Kenan,
20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
26 And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 And God created man in his own image. In Godʼs image he created him; male and female he created them.
The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is no one who does good.
The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt. They do abominable works. There is none who does good.
4 He answered, and said, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?' 6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no one separate."
12 Therefore, as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; and so death passed to all people, because all sinned. 13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. 16 The gift is not as through one who sinned: for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification. 17 For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ. 18 So then as through one trespass, all people were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all people were justified to life. 19 For as through the one man's disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous. 20 The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly; 21 that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made. So they are without excuse. 21 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but their thinking became nonsense, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for images resembling corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and crawling creatures. 24 Therefore God also abandoned them in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason, God abandoned them to their degrading passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature. 27 Likewise also the men, giving up natural relations with women, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
3 knowing this first, that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking and walking after their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." 5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God; 6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.
21 And God created the large sea creatures, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
8 But do not forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
8 Be careful not to allow anyone to captivate you through an empty and deceptive philosophy, according to human tradition, according to the elementary principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
7 The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
3 All things were made through him, and apart from him nothing was made that has been made.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
