²⁵ Heauinesse discorageth the hert of man, but a good worde maketh it glad again.

⁴ He that regardeth the wynde, shall not sowe: and he that hath respecte vnto the cloudes, shall not reape.

¹⁰ Whatsoeuer thou takest in hande to do, that do wyth all thy power: for among the dead, wher as thou goest vnto, ther is nether worcke, councel, knowledge ner wysdome.

³³ But rather seke ye first the kyngdome of heauen and the rightuousnes therof, & all these thynge shalbe ministred vnto you.

³⁵ Let youre loynes be gerdde aboute, & your lyghtes brennynge,

⁴ I must work the workes of hym that sente me, whyle it is daye. The nyghte cometh, when no man can worke.

⁴⁰ Be ye prepared therfore: for the sonne of man will come at an houre, when ye thynke not.

²⁰ Finallye, if I do that I woulde not, then is yt not I that do it, but synne that dwelleth in me, doeth it. ²¹ I fynde then by the lawe that when I woulde do good, euyll is present with me.

¹¹ No maner chastisynge for the presente tyme semeth to be ioyeous, but greuous: neuerthelesse afterwarde, it bryngeth the quyet frute of ryghtuousnes vnto them whiche are therein exercysed.

¹³ I can do al thinges thorowe the helpe of Christe whiche strengtheth me.

⁵⁹ And he sayed vnto another: folow me. And the same sayde: Lorde suffer me fyrste to go & burye my father, ⁶⁰ Iesus sayde vnto him. Let the dead burye her dead: but go thou & preach the kyngedome of God. ⁶¹ And another sayed: I wyll folowe the Lord but let me fyrste go byd them fare wel, which are at home at my house. ⁶² Iesus sayed vnto hym. No man that putteth hys hande to the plough, and loketh backe, is apte to the kyngdome of God.

¹⁷ Therfor to hym that knoweth how to do good, and doeth it not to him it is sinne.

¹ Make not thy boaste of to morow, for thou knowest not what maye happen to day.

⁴ A slouthfull body will not go to plowe for colde, therefore shall he go a beggynge in Sommer, and haue nothynge.

²⁴ A diligent hande shal beare rule, but the ydle shalbe vnder tribute.

¹⁵ Take hede therfore that ye walke circumspectlye: not as foles, but as wyse ¹⁶ redeminge the time, for the dayes are iuel. ¹⁷ Wherfore be ye not vnwise, but vnderstande what the wyll of the Lorde is,

⁴ The slogarde woulde fayne haue, and can not get his dsyre: but the soule of the diligente shall haue plenty.
