¹³ but reioice in as much as ye are partakers of Christes passions, that when his glory appereth, ye maye be mery and glad. ¹⁴ If ye be railed vpon for the name of Christ, happie are ye. For the spyryte of glorye, and the spyryte of Gad resteth vpon you. On theyr parte he is euyll spoken of, but on your parte he is glorified. ¹⁵ Se that none of you suffer as a murtherer or as a thefe, or an euil doar, or as a busibody in other mens matters.

³ It is a mans honour to kepe him selfe from stryfe, but they that haue pleasure in braulinge, are fooles euery one.

²⁰ Where no wodde is, there the fyre goeth oute: and where the backcbyter is taken awaye, there the stryfe ceaseth.

¹ Ivdge not, that ye be not iudged. ² For as ye iudge so, shall ye be iudged. And with what measur ye meate, with the same shal it be measured to you agayne. ³ Why seiste thou a moote in thy brothers eye, & perceyuest not the beame that is in thyne owne eye? ⁴ Or why saist thou to thy brother: suffer me to plucke out the moote out of thyne eye, & beholde a beame is in thyne owne eye? ⁵ Hypocrite, first caste out the beame out of thyne owne eye, and then shalte thou se clearelye to plucke out the moote out of thy brothers eye.

¹¹ and that ye studye to be quyete, and to medle with youre owne busines, and to worke wyth youre owne handes, as we commaunded you:

¹⁷ Who so goeth by & medleth wyth other mens stryfe, he is lyke one that taketh a dog by the eares.
