²³ And he sayed to them all, if anye man wyll come after me, let him denye hym selfe, & take vp his crosse dayly, and folowe me. ²⁴ Whosoeuer wyll saue his lyfe, shall lose it. And whosoeuer shall lose his lyfe for my sake, the same shall saue it. ²⁵ For what auauntageth it a man to winne the whole worlde if he lose him selfe, or runne in damage of him selfe. ²⁶ For whosoeuer is ashamed of me, and of my saiynges: of hym shall the sonne of man be ashamed, when he cometh in his owne glory, & the glory of his father, and of the holye aungels. ²⁷ And I tell you of a surtye. Ther be some of them that stande here, which shall not taste of death, tyll they se the kingdome of God.

¹⁵ Henceforth call I you not seruauntes: for the seruaunt knoweth not what hys lorde doth. But you haue I called frendes, for all thynges that I haue heard of my father, I haue opened vnto you.

⁵ I am the vyne, and ye are the braunches. He that abydeth in me, and I in him, the same bryngeth forth muche frute. For without me can ye do nothynge.

¹ If ye be then rysen agayn with Christ seke those thinges which are aboue where Christe sitteth on the right hand of God. ² Set youre affeccion on thinges that are aboue, and not on thinges, which are on the earth. ³ For ye are dead and youre lyfe is hid with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ which is our life, shal shew him selfe then shal ye also appere wyth him in glorye.

²⁷ For al ye that are baptysed, haue put on Christ. ²⁸ Nowe is there no Iewe neyther gentyle, ther is neyther bonde nor free: there is neyther man nor woman, but ye are all one thyng in christ Iesu. ²⁹ Yf ye be Christes, then are ye Abrahams seede and heyres by promes.

²² So then as concernyng the conuersacyon in tyme past, laye from you that olde man, whyche is corrupte thorowe the deceyueable lustes ²³ and be ye renued in the spyrite of your mindes, ²⁴ and put on that newe man, whyche after the Image of God is shapen in ryghteousnes & true holynes.

²⁷ Ye are the bodye of Christe, and membres one of another.

¹⁹ Either knowe ye not howe that youre bodies are the temple of the holye ghoste, whyche is in you, whome ye haue of God, and how that ye are not your owne? ²⁰ For ye are dearlye boughte. Therfore glorifye ye God in youre bodyes, and in youre spyrytes, for they are Goddes.

¹⁰ For we are his worckmanshyp created in Christe Iesus to good workes, vnto the, whyche God ordeined vs before, that we should walke in them.

¹ Beholde what loue the father hath shewed on vs, that we shoulde be called the sonnes of God. For this cause the worlde knoweth you not, because it knoweth not him. ² Dearly beloued, now are we the sonnes of God, and yet it doeth not appeare, what we shalbe. But we knowe that when it shal appere, we shalbe like him. For we shall se him as he is. ³ And euery man that hath thys hope in him, pourgeth him selfe, euen as he is pure.

²⁰ I am crucyfyed with Christ. I lyue verelye: yet now not I, but Christe lyueth in me. For the lyfe which I now lyue in the, flesh I lyue by the faythe of the sonne of God whiche loued me, and gaue hym selfe for me.

⁹ But ye are a chosen generacyon, a royall priesthode, an holye nacyon and a peculyar people that ye shoulde shewe the vertues of hym that called you oute of darkenes into his marueylous lyght,

⁵ Before I fashyoned the in thy mothers wombe, I did know the. And or euer thou wast borne, I sanctifyed the, and ordeyned the, to be a Prophete vnto the people.

¹¹ For I knowe what I haue deuysed for you sayeth the Lorde. My thoughtes are to geue you peace, and not trouble (whiche I geue you all redye) & that ye might haue hope agayn.

¹⁷ Therfore yf anye man be in Christe, he is a newe creature. Olde thynges are passed awaye, beholde all thynges are become newe.

²⁷ And God created man after hys likenes, after the lycknesse of god created he hym: male & female created he them.
