¹ To the chaunter destroye not, a Psalme and song of Asaph. Vnto the, O God, wil we geue thankes, yea vnto the wyll we geue thanckes, and seynge thy name is so ny, we wil tel of thy wonderous worckes.

⁶ For vnto vs a chylde shalbe borne, and vnto vs a sonne shalbe geuen. Vpon his shoulder shall the kyngedome lye, and he shalbe called with hys owne name. The wonderous geuer of councel, the myghty God, the euerlastinge father, the prynce of peace,

¹¹ And it chaunsed as he wente to Ierusalem that he passed through Samaria and Galile. ¹² And as he entred into a certayne toune: there met hym .x. that were lepers. Whiche stode a farre ¹³ & put forth theyr voyces and sayde: Iesu maister, haue mercy on vs. ¹⁴ When he saw them he saide vnto them: Go and shew your selues to the priestes. And it chaunsed as they went, they were clensed. ¹⁵ And one of them when he sawe that he was clensed, turned backe agayn and with a loude voyce praysed God ¹⁶ and fel doune on his face at hys fete, & gaue him thankes. And the same was a Samaritane. ¹⁷ And Iesus aunswered and sayed: are there not ten clensed? But where are those nyne? ¹⁸ There are not founde that returned agayne to geue GOD prayse, saue only thys straunger. ¹⁹ And he said vnto him: aryse, and go thy waye, thy faythe hath made the whole.

¹² Then spake Iesus agayne vnto them, saiynge. I am the lyghte of the worlde. He that foloweth me, shall not walke in darkenes: but shall haue the lyghte of lyfe.

¹ Brethren, yf any man be fallen by chaunce into any faute: ye which are spyrytuall helpe to amende hym, in the spyryte of mekenes, consyderynge thy selfe leste thou also be tempted.

²⁰ I am crucyfyed with Christ. I lyue verelye: yet now not I, but Christe lyueth in me. For the lyfe which I now lyue in the, flesh I lyue by the faythe of the sonne of God whiche loued me, and gaue hym selfe for me.

³ Yea, the Lorde hath done greate thynges for vs all ready, wherof we reioyse.

¹⁷ Charge them that are ryche in this worlde shal they be not exceadyng wyse, and that they truste not in the vncertayne ryches, but in the lyuyng God, which geueth vs aboundauntly al thynges to enioy them, ¹⁸ and that they do good and be ryche in good workes, and readye to geue and to distrybute, ¹⁹ layinge vp in store for them selues a good foundacyon agaynste the tyme to come that they maye obtayne eternal lyfe.

⁶ Be not carefull: but in all thinges shewe your petition vnto God in prayer and supplication, wyth geuinge of thankes. ⁷ And the peace of God, whiche passeth al vnderstandynge, kepe your hertes and myndes in Chryste Iesu.

¹ Of Dauid. Prayse the Lorde O my soule: & all that is within me prayse hys holy name. ² Prayse the Lord O my soule & forget not all his benefites.

⁷ I wyl declare the goodnesse of the Lorde, yea and the prayse of the Lorde for all that he hath geuen vs, for the great good that he hath done for Israel: whyche he hath geuen them of hys owne fauoure, and accordynge to the multytude of hys louynge kyndnesses.

³ Euen so shall the Lorde nowe also apeare vnto me from farre, & saye: I loue the with an euerlasting loue, therfore do I sprede my mercye before the.

²⁸ For in him we lyue, moue, and haue our beyng, as certayne of your own Poetes sayd. For we are also hys generacion.

¹¹ & reioyse ouer al the good thynges which the Lord thy God hath geuen vnto the and vnto thyne house, bothe thou the Leuite and the straunger that is amonge you.

³ Be ye sure, that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made vs, and not we our selues: we are but his people, and the shepe of his pastoure. ⁴ O go youre waye into hys gates then with thanckesgeuynge, and into his courtes with prayse, be thanckefull vnto hym, and speake good of his name.

²⁸ Wherfore yf we receyue a kingdom which is not moued, we haue grace, wherby we may serue God, and please hym wyth reuerence & Godly feare.

¹⁸ In all thinges geue thankes. For thys is the wyll of God in Christe Iesu towarde you.
