7 And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Bible verses about "speaking things into existence" | MKJV
20 teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.
1 And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven as borne along by the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed; and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And dwelling at Jerusalem there were Jews, devout men out of every nation under heaven. 6 But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect. 7 And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not these who speak all Galileans? 8 And how do we each hear in our own dialect in which we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabians, we hear them speaking the great things of God in our own languages. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying to one another, What does this mean? 13 But others mocking said, These men are full of sweet wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice and said to them, Men, Jews, and all who dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words. 15 For these are not drunk as you suppose, for it is the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 "And it shall be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And in those days I will pour out My Spirit upon My slaves and My slave women, and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will give wonders in the heaven above, and miracles on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious Day of the Lord. 21 And it shall be that everyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." 22 Men, Israelites, hear these words. Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by powerful works, and wonders and miracles, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know, 23 this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken and by lawless hands, crucifying Him, you put Him to death; 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David speaks concerning Him, "I foresaw the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, that I should not be moved. 26 Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue was glad; and also My flesh shall rest in hope, 27 because You will not leave My soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your holy One to see corruption. 28 You revealed to Me the ways of life. You will fill Me with joy with Your countenance." 29 Men, brothers, it is permitted to say to you with plainness as to the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit upon his throne, 31 seeing this beforehand, he spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor would His flesh see corruption, 32 God raised up this Jesus, of which we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured out this which you now see and hear. 34 For David has not ascended into the heavens, but he says himself, "The LORD said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand 35 until I place Your enemies as a footstool to Your feet." 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God made this same Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. 37 And hearing this, they were stabbed in the heart, and said to Peter and to the other apostles, Men, brothers, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ to remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words he earnestly testified and exhorted, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation. 41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. And the same day there were added about three thousand souls. 42 And they were continuing steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, and in fellowship and in the breaking of the loaves, and in prayers. 43 And fear came on every soul. And many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things common. 45 And they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need. 46 And continuing with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
17 For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory,
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it. 6 There was a man sent from God; his name was John. 7 This one came as a witness, to bear witness concerning the Light, so that all might believe through him. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own received Him not. 12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name, 13 who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God. 14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, This was He of whom I spoke: He who comes after me has been before me, for He was preceding me. 16 And out of His fullness we all have received, and grace for grace. 17 For the Law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time; the Only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. 19 And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who are you? 20 And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he says, I am not. Are you that prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then they said to him, Who are you so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say of yourself? 23 He said, I am "the voice of one crying in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the Lord," as the prophet Isaiah said. 24 And they who were sent were from the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him and said, Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor that Prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but One stands among you whom you do not know. 27 He it is who, coming after me, who has been before me; of whom I am not worthy to loosen the thong of His sandal. 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John sees Jesus coming to him and says, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He of whom I said, After me comes a Man who has been before me, for He preceded me. 31 And I did not know Him, but that He be revealed to Israel, therefore I have come baptizing with water. 32 And John bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove, and He abode on Him. 33 And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water, that One said to me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining upon Him, He is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I saw and bore record that this is the Son of God. 35 Again, the next day afterward, John stood with two of his disciples. 36 And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he says, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, What do you seek? They said to Him, Rabbi (which is called, being translated, Teacher), where do you live? 39 He says to them, Come and see. They came and saw where He lived, and stayed with Him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of the two who heard John and followed Him was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being translated, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus saw him, He said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is, A stone). 43 The day after, Jesus desired to go forth into Galilee. And He found Philip and said to him, Follow Me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said to him, Can there be any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. 49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God. You are the King of Israel! 50 Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these. 51 And He said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see Heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.
6 I have said, You are gods; and all of you sons of the Most High.
23 For truly I say to you that whoever shall say to this mountain, Be moved and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he said shall occur, he shall have whatever he said.
6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
1 The hand of Jehovah was on me, and brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah, and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. 2 And He made me pass among them all around. And behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And lo, they were very dry. 3 And he said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, You know. 4 Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the Word of Jehovah. 5 So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 And I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And behold, a shaking! And the bones came near, a bone to its bone. 8 And I watched. And behold! The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin covered them above. But there was no breath in them. 9 And He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit, prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these dead ones so that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.
25 For I, Jehovah, will speak, and the Word that I shall speak shall be done. It shall no more be delayed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the Word and will do it, says the Lord Jehovah.
28 and God has chosen the base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, in order to bring to nothing things that are;
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 By faith we understand that the ages were framed by a word of God, so that the things being seen not to have come into being out of the things that appear. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts. And by it he, being dead, yet speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was translated so as not to see death, and he was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 7 By faith Noah, having been warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out into a place which he was afterward going to receive for an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he went. 9 By faith he lived in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs of the same promise with him. 10 For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
17 Then faith is of hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
8 This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form and empty. And darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light. And there was light. 4 And God saw the light that it was good. And God divided between the light and the darkness. 5 And God called the light, Day. And He called the darkness, Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. 8 And God called the expanse, Heavens. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land, Earth. And He called the gathering together of the waters, Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth tender sprouts (the herb seeding seed and the fruit tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself) upon the earth; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth tender sprouts, the herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed was in itself. And God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years. 15 And let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth. And it was so. 16 And God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night, and the stars also. 17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarmers having a living soul; and let birds fly over the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens. 21 And God created great sea-animals, and every living soul that creeps with which the waters swarmed after their kind; and every winged fowl after its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters of the seas and let the fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creepers, and its beasts of the earth after its kind; and it was so. 25 And God made the beasts of the earth after its kind, and cattle after their kind, and all creepers upon the earth after their kind. And God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth. 27 And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female. 28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it. And have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the heavens, and all animals that move upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeper on the earth which has in it a living soul every green plant is for food; and it was so. 31 And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
17 (as it has been written, "I have made you a father of many nations") --before God, whom he believed, who makes the dead live, and calls the things which do not exist as though they do exist.
34 Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings out good things; and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings out evil things. 36 But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment.
18 we not considering the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are not lasting, but the things which are not seen are everlasting.
11 so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.
22 And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
13 For we, having the same spirit of faith (according as it is written, "I believed, and therefore I have spoken"); we also believed and therefore speak,
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat the fruit of it.
22 And answering Jesus said to them, Have faith of God. 23 For truly I say to you that whoever shall say to this mountain, Be moved and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he said shall occur, he shall have whatever he said. 24 Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you shall receive them, and it will be to you.
