Genesis 1:29-30

29 And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeper on the earth which has in it a living soul every green plant is for food; and it was so.

Genesis 1:11-12

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth tender sprouts (the herb seeding seed and the fruit tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself) upon the earth; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth tender sprouts, the herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed was in itself. And God saw that it was good.

Leviticus 19:19

19 You shall keep My statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with different kinds. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed. And you shall not allow clothing mixed of linen and wool to come on you.

Mark 4:8

8 And another fell on good ground and yielded fruit, going up and increasing. And one bore thirty, and one sixty, and one a hundredfold.

Titus 1:1-16

1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ (according to the faith of God's elect, in the acknowledging of the truth which is according to godliness 2 on hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the eternal times, 3 but revealed His Word in its own times in a proclamation, with which I was entrusted by the command of God our Savior,) 4 to Titus, a true child according to our common faith. Grace mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. 5 For this cause I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed you, 6 if anyone is blameless, husband of one wife, having believing children, not accused of loose behavior, or disobedient. 7 For an overseer must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not full of passion, not given to wine, not quarrelsome, not greedy for ill gain; 8 but hospitable, a lover of good, discreet, just, holy, temperate, 9 holding fast the faithful Word according to the doctrine, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and to convict the gainsayers. 10 For there are indeed many unruly men, vain talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whose mouth you must stop, who subvert whole houses, teaching things not right for the sake of ill gain. 12 One of them, a prophet of their own, said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons. 13 This witness is true; for which cause convict them sharply, so that they may be sound in the faith, 14 not giving heed to Jewish myths and commandments of men, turning away from the truth. 15 To the pure all things are pure. But to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and reprobate to every good work.

Genesis 1:12

12 And the earth brought forth tender sprouts, the herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed was in itself. And God saw that it was good.

Hosea 10:12

12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek Jehovah, until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Luke 8:1-56

1 And it happened afterwards, He traveled in every city and village, proclaiming and announcing the gospel of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve were with Him, 2 and also certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven demons, 3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, who ministered to Him of their possessions. 4 And a great crowd coming together, and those in each city coming to Him, He spoke by a parable: 5 A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, the one fell by the roadside and was trampled; and the birds of the air devoured it. 6 And other fell on a rock, and sprouting, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 7 And other fell amidst thorns, and springing up with the thorns, they choked it. 8 And other fell on good ground and sprang up, and bore fruit a hundredfold. And when He had said these things, He cried, He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 9 And His disciples asked Him, saying, What might this parable be? 10 And He said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. But to others I speak in parables, so that seeing they might not see and hearing they might not understand. 11 And the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God. 12 Those by the roadside are the ones who hear; then the Devil comes and takes the Word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rock are the ones who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy. And these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 And those which fell among thorns are the ones who, when they have heard, go forth and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of life, and do not bear to maturity. 15 But those on the good ground are the ones who, in an honest and good heart, having heard the Word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience. 16 And no one lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it under a couch; but he sets it on a lampstand so that those who enter in may see the light. 17 For nothing is secret that shall not be revealed; nor secret which shall not be known and come to be revealed. 18 Therefore be careful how you hear. For whoever has, to him shall be given; and whoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have. 19 And His mother and His brothers came to Him. And they could not come near Him because of the crowd. 20 And it was told to Him by some, who said, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside desiring to see You. 21 And He answered and said to them, My mother and My brothers are those who hear the Word of God and do it. 22 And it happened on a certain day that He went into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they put out to sea. 23 But as they sailed, He fell asleep. And a storm of wind came onto the lake. And they were being filled with water and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him and awakened Him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing! Then being aroused, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 And He said to them, Where is your faith? And being afraid, they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this One? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him! 26 And they sailed down to the country of the Gadarenes, which is across from Galilee. 27 And He going out onto land, He met a certain man out of the city, who had had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, nor stayed in a house, but among the tombs. 28 And seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him and said with a loud voice, What is to me and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I beseech You, Do not torment me! 29 (For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had seized him. And he had been kept bound in chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven into the deserted places by the demons.) 30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion; because many demons had entered into him. 31 And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss. 32 And there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain. And they begged Him that He would allow them to enter into them. And He allowed them. 33 And coming out of the man, the demons entered into the pigs. And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake and were choked. 34 And those feeding the pigs, and seeing the thing, fled. And leaving, they reported to the city and to the farms. 35 And they went out to see what had been done. And they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had departed sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. 36 Also those who saw it told them how the demon-possessed one was healed. 37 And all the multitude of the neighborhood of the Gadarenes were seized with a great fear, and asked Him to depart from them. And entering into the boat, He returned. 38 And the man out of whom the demons had gone out begged Him, desiring to be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 Return to your own house and declare what God has done to you. And he went his way and proclaimed throughout all the city what great things Jesus had done to him. 40 And it happened when Jesus had returned, the people received Him. For they were all waiting for Him. 41 And behold, a man named Jairus came, and he was a synagogue-ruler. And he fell down at Jesus' feet and begged Him that He would come into his house. 42 For he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay dying. But as He went, the people thronged Him. 43 And a woman who had a flow of blood twelve years (who had spent all her living on physicians, and could not be healed by any) 44 came behind Him and touched the border of His garment. And instantly her flow of blood was staunched. 45 And Jesus said, Who touched Me? And all having denied, Peter and those with Him said, Master, the crowd presses and jostles You, and You say, Who touched Me? 46 And Jesus said, Someone has touched Me, for I know that power has gone out of Me. 47 And seeing that she was not hidden, the woman came trembling. And falling down before Him, she declared to Him before all the people why she had touched Him, and how she was instantly healed. 48 And He said to her, Daughter, be comforted. Your faith has saved you; go in peace. 49 He was still speaking when someone came from the synagogue-ruler, saying to him, Your daughter is dead, do not trouble the Teacher. 50 But when Jesus heard, He answered Him, saying, Do not fear, only believe and she shall be healed. 51 And coming into the house, He allowed no one to go in, except Peter and James and John, and the father and the mother of the girl. 52 And all were weeping and bewailing her. But He said, Do not weep; she has not died, but sleeps. 53 And they ridiculed, knowing that she was dead. 54 And He put them all out. And He took her by the hand and called, saying, Little girl, arise! 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that food be given her to eat. 56 And her parents were astonished. But He charged them to tell no one the thing that happened.

2 Corinthians 9:6

6 But I say this, He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.

1 Peter 1:22-25

22 Purifying your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned love of the brothers, love one another fervently out of a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living Word of God, and abiding forever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of men as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls out, 25 but the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word preached as gospel to you.

Genesis 1:11

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth tender sprouts (the herb seeding seed and the fruit tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself) upon the earth; and it was so.

Matthew 17:20

20 And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Move from here to there. And it shall move. And nothing shall be impossible to you.

Galatians 6:8

8 For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:36-38

36 Foolish one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies. 37 And what you sow, you do not sow the body that is going to be, but a bare grain (perhaps of wheat or of some of the rest). 38 And God gives it a body as it has pleased Him, and to each of the seeds its own body.

1 Corinthians 15:38

38 And God gives it a body as it has pleased Him, and to each of the seeds its own body.

Matthew 13:1-58

1 In that day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside. 2 And great crowds were gathered to Him, so that He went into a boat and sat. And all the crowd stood on the shore. 3 And He spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth. And they sprang up immediately, because they had no deepness of earth. 6 And the sun rising, they were scorched, and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns. And the thorns sprung up and choked them. 8 And some fell on the good ground and yielded fruit, indeed one a hundredfold, and one sixty, and one thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And the disciples said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables? 11 He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. 12 For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whoever does not have, from him shall be taken away even that which he has. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which said, "By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive; 15 for this people's heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. 17 For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear what you hear, and have not heard them. 18 Therefore hear the parable of the sower. 19 When anyone hears the Word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown by the wayside. 20 But that which was sown on the stony places is this: he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy. 21 But he has no root in himself, and is temporary. For when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the Word, he immediately stumbles. 22 And that sown into the thorns is this: he who hears the Word; and the anxiety of this world, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But that sown on the good ground is this: he who hears the Word and understands; who also bears fruit and produces one truly a hundredfold; and one sixty; and one thirty. 24 He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the blade had sprung up and had produced fruit, then the darnel also appeared. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then where have the darnel come from? 28 He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and gather them up? 29 But he said, No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also root up the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary. 31 He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; 32 which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown it is the greatest among herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches. 33 He spoke another parable to them: The kingdom of Heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until the whole was leavened. 34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable, 35 so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world." 36 Then sending the crowds away, Jesus went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field. 37 He answered and said to them, He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man; 38 the field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; but the darnel are the sons of the evil one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the darnel are gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of Man shall send out His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity, 42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 44 Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which when a man has found it, he hides it, and for the joy of it goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. 45 Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls; 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. 47 Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea, and gathered some of every kind; 48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. 49 So it shall be at the end of the world. The angels shall come out and separate the wicked from among the just, 50 and shall cast them into the furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 51 Jesus said to them, Have you understood all these things? They said to Him, Yes, Lord. 52 Then He said to them, Therefore every scribe who is instructed to the kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out things new and old out of his treasure. 53 And it happened when Jesus finished these parables, He departed from there. 54 And when He had come into His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so much so that they were astonished and said, From where does this man have this wisdom and these mighty works? 55 Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brothers, James and Joses and Simon and Judas, 56 and his sisters, are they not all with us? Then from where does this man have all these things? 57 And they were offended in Him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country and in his own house. 58 And He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Genesis 1:29

29 And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food.
