4 Then I said, I am cast off from Your eyes, yet I will look again toward Your holy temple. 5 Waters encompassed me, even to the soul; the depth closed around me; the seaweed was bound to my head. 6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was around me forever; yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Jehovah my God. 7 When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; and my prayer came in to You, into Your holy temple. 8 They who take heed to lying vanities forsake their kindness; 9 but I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will fulfill that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Jehovah! 10 And Jehovah spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out on the dry land.
Bible verses about "faith healing" | MKJV
2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if You will, You can make me clean.
14 And when they came to the crowd, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and grievously vexed; for oftentimes he falls into the fire, and often into the water. 16 And I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to Me. 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and he departed out of him. And the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus apart, and said, Why could we not cast him out? 20 And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to you, If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Move from here to there. And it shall move. And nothing shall be impossible to you.
11 And it happened on the next day, He went into a city called Nain. And many of His disciples and a great crowd went with Him. 12 And drawing near the gate of the city, even behold, one having died was being carried out, an only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a considerable crowd of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep. 14 And He came and touched the bier. And the ones who bore him stood still. And He said, Young man, I say to you, Arise! 15 And the one who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He delivered him to his mother. 16 And fear came on all. And they glorified God, saying, A great prophet has risen up among us; and, God has visited His people. 17 And this report of Him went out in all Judea, and in all the neighborhood.
58 And He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1 What then shall we say that our father Abraham has found, according to flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has a boast; but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness." 4 But to him working, the reward is not reckoned according to grace, but according to debt. 5 But to him not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also says of the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness without works, 7 saying, "Blessed are those whose lawlessnesses are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; 8 blessed is the man to whom the Lord will in no way impute sin." 9 Is this blessedness then on the circumcision only, or on the uncircumcision also? For we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10 How then was it reckoned? Being in circumcision or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11 And he received a sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith while still uncircumcised; so that he might be the father of all those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be imputed to them also; 12 and a father of circumcision to those not of the circumcision only, but also to those walking by the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision. 13 For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if they of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise is made of no effect; 15 because the Law works out wrath, for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16 Therefore it is of faith so that it might be according to grace; for the promise to be made sure to all the seed, not only to that which is of the Law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17 (as it has been written, "I have made you a father of many nations") --before God, whom he believed, who makes the dead live, and calls the things which do not exist as though they do exist. 18 For he who beyond hope believed on hope for him to become the father of many nations (according to that which was spoken, "So your seed shall be"). 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body already dead (being about a hundred years old) or the deadening of Sarah's womb. 20 He did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. 23 Now it was not written for him alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but for us also to whom it is to be imputed, to the ones believing on Him who has raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 who was delivered because of our offenses and was raised for our justification.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us.
32 Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 And it will be, if you shall listen carefully to the voice of Jehovah your God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command you today, Jehovah your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come on you and overtake you, if you will listen to the voice of Jehovah your God. 3 You shall be blessed in the city, and be blessed in the field. 4 The fruit of your body shall be blessed, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep. 5 Your basket and your store shall be blessed. 6 You shall be blessed when you come in, and blessed when you go out. 7 Jehovah shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be stricken before your face. They shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. 8 Jehovah shall command the blessing on you in your storehouses, and all that you set your hand to. And He shall bless you in the land which Jehovah your God gives you. 9 Jehovah shall establish you a holy people to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of Jehovah your God and walk in His ways. 10 And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of Jehovah, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And Jehovah shall prosper you in goods, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give you. 12 Jehovah shall open to you His good treasure, the heaven to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. And you shall loan to many nations, and you shall not borrow. 13 And Jehovah shall make you the head, and not the tail. And you shall be always above, and you shall not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I command you today, to observe and to do them. 14 And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right hand or the left, to go after other gods to serve them. 15 And it shall be, if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to observe and to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, all these curses shall come on you and overtake you. 16 You shall be cursed in the city, and cursed in the field. 17 Your basket and your store shall be cursed. 18 The fruit of your body shall be cursed, and the fruit of your land, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep. 19 You shall be cursed when you come in, and cursed when you go out. 20 Jehovah shall send on you cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed, and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings by which you have forsaken Me. 21 Jehovah shall make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from off the land where you go to possess it. 22 Jehovah shall strike you with lung disease and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew. And they shall pursue you until you perish. 23 And your heavens over your head shall be bronze, and the earth that is under you iron. 24 Jehovah shall make the rain of your land powder and dust. It shall come down from the heavens on you until you are destroyed. 25 Jehovah shall cause you to be stricken before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a trembling to all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 And your body shall be food to all birds of the air, and to the beasts of the earth. And no man shall frighten them away. 27 Jehovah will strike you with the boils of Egypt, and with the hemorrhoids, and with the scab, and with the itch, of which you cannot be healed. 28 Jehovah shall strike you with madness and blindness, and astonishment of heart. 29 And you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways. And you shall always be pressed down and spoiled forever, and no man shall save you. 30 You shall become engaged to a wife, and another man shall lie with her. You shall build a house, and you shall not live in it. You shall plant a vineyard, and you shall not gather the grapes of it. 31 Your ox shall be slain before your eyes, and you shall not eat of it. Your ass shall be violently taken away from before your face, and shall not be restored to you, your sheep given to your enemies, and you shall have none to rescue them. 32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, and your eyes shall look and fail for them all the day long. And there shall be no power in your hand. 33 The fruit of your land, and all your labors, shall be eaten up by a nation which you do not know. And you shall always be oppressed and crushed, 34 and you shall be mad because of that which you shall see with the sight of your eyes. 35 Jehovah shall strike you in the knees and in the legs with an evil ulcer that cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the top of your head. 36 Jehovah shall bring you, and your king which you shall set over you, to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known. And there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone. 37 And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a by-word among all nations where Jehovah shall lead you. 38 You shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather little in, for the locust shall eat it. 39 You shall plant vineyards and dress them, but shall neither drink the wine nor gather, for the worm shall eat them. 40 You shall have olive trees throughout all your coasts, but you shall not anoint with the oil, for your olive shall drop off its fruit. 41 You shall father sons and daughters, but you shall not enjoy them, for they shall go into captivity. 42 All your trees and the fruit of your land the locust shall possess. 43 The stranger within you shall get up above you very high, and you shall come down very low. 44 He shall loan to you, and you shall not loan to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. 45 And all these curses shall come on you, and shall pursue you and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you. 46 And they shall be on you for a sign and for a wonder, and on your seed forever. 47 Because you did not serve Jehovah your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things; 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies which Jehovah shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in the lack of all things. And he shall put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you. 49 Jehovah shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand, 50 a nation fierce of face who shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young. 51 And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle and the fruit of your land, until you are destroyed. He shall not leave you grain, wine, or oil, the increase of your livestock, or flocks of your sheep, until he has destroyed you. 52 And he shall besiege you in all your gates until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down, throughout all the land. And he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land which Jehovah your God has given you. 53 And you shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters, which Jehovah your God has given you, in the siege and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you. 54 The man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the rest of his sons which he has left; 55 so that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his sons whom he shall eat, because he has nothing left to him in the siege and in the anguish with which your enemies shall distress you in all your gates. 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not have ventured to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, 57 and toward her young one who comes out from between her feet, and toward her sons whom she shall bear. For she shall eat them secretly for lack of all things, in the siege and anguish with which your enemies shall distress you in your gates. 58 If you will not observe to do all the words of this Law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH YOUR GOD, 59 then Jehovah will make your plagues remarkable, and the plagues of your seed great and persistent plagues; with evil and long-lasting sicknesses. 60 Also, He will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid. And they shall cling to you. 61 Also, every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this Law, Jehovah will bring them on you until you are destroyed. 62 And you shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for multitude, because you would not obey the voice of Jehovah your God. 63 And it shall be, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to destroy you and to bring you to nothing. And you shall be plucked from off the land where you go to possess it. 64 And Jehovah shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even to the other, and you shall serve other gods there, which neither you nor your fathers have known, wood and stone. 65 And among these nations you shall find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest. But Jehovah shall give you there a trembling heart and failing of eyes and sorrow of mind. 66 And your life shall hang in doubt before you, and you shall fear day and night, and shall have no assurance of your life. 67 In the morning you shall say, Oh that it were evening! And at evening you shall say, Oh that it were morning, for the fear of your heart with which you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see. 68 And Jehovah shall bring you into Egypt again with ships, by the way of which I said to you, You shall see it no more again. And there you shall be sold to your enemies for men-slaves and women-slaves, and no man shall buy you.
50 But when Jesus heard, He answered Him, saying, Do not fear, only believe and she shall be healed.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form and empty. And darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light. And there was light. 4 And God saw the light that it was good. And God divided between the light and the darkness. 5 And God called the light, Day. And He called the darkness, Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. 8 And God called the expanse, Heavens. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land, Earth. And He called the gathering together of the waters, Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth tender sprouts (the herb seeding seed and the fruit tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself) upon the earth; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth tender sprouts, the herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree producing fruit after its kind, whose seed was in itself. And God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years. 15 And let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth. And it was so. 16 And God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night, and the stars also. 17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarmers having a living soul; and let birds fly over the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens. 21 And God created great sea-animals, and every living soul that creeps with which the waters swarmed after their kind; and every winged fowl after its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters of the seas and let the fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creepers, and its beasts of the earth after its kind; and it was so. 25 And God made the beasts of the earth after its kind, and cattle after their kind, and all creepers upon the earth after their kind. And God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth. 27 And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female. 28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it. And have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the heavens, and all animals that move upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeper on the earth which has in it a living soul every green plant is for food; and it was so. 31 And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
27 And when Jesus passed on from there, two blind ones followed Him, crying and saying, Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord. 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith let it be to you. 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See, let no one know. 31 But going out, they made Him known in all that land.
7 and by the surpassing revelations, lest I be made haughty, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be made haughty. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me. 10 Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.
13 Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will cure the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him. 16 Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much.
15 And the prayer of faith will cure the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
