¹⁷ And when He had entered into the house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable. ¹⁸ And He said to them, Are you also without understanding? Do you not perceive that whatever enters into the man from outside cannot defile him, ¹⁹ because it does not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the waste-bowl, purifying all food?

¹⁸ And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit,

¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have of God? And you are not your own, ²⁰ for you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

¹² I beg you, try your servants ten days. And let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink.

²⁹ And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food.
