²⁹ Jesus answered, The chief of all the commandments is, "Hearken, Israel, the Lord is our God. The Lord is one:"

¹⁶ Jesus being immersed, no sooner arose out of the water, than heaven was opened to him; and the Spirit of God appeared, descending like a dove, and lighting upon him;

²² and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in a bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my Son, the beloved; in thee I delight.

³⁵ The angel answering, said to her, The Holy Spirit will descend upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore the holy progeny shall be called the Son of God.

⁹ Now, you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit; because the Spirit of God dwells in you. But, if any one have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. ¹⁰ And if Christ be in you, the body, indeed, is dead, with respect to sin; but the Spirit is life, with respect to righteousness. ¹¹ For, if the Spirit of him, who raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he who raised up Christ from the dead, will make even your mortal bodies alive, through his Spirit, who dwells in you.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

¹⁴ The favor of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

⁵ Now let this disposition be in you which was also in Christ Jesus; ⁶ who, though he was in the form of God, did not affect to appear in divine majesty; ⁷ but divested himself, taking upon him the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; ⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.

²⁶ But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I have told you.

²⁶ But when the Advocate is come, whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify concerning me.

⁶ yet, to us, there is but one God, the Father; of whom all things are, and we for him: and one Lord Jesus Christ; by whom all things are, and we by him.

¹⁹ go, convert all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
