¹⁸ And the cedar on the house within was carved with colocynths and opening flowers; all was cedar, no stone was seen.

² Like a flower he cometh forth, and is cut down: and he fleeth like a shadow, and remaineth not.

²¹ Under shady trees he lieth down, in the covert of the reeds, and swamp.

²⁴ How manifold are thy works, O Lord! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
