²⁴ Jehovah shall make the rain of your land be dust and ashes. It shall come down on you from the heavens until you are destroyed.

¹ A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills; from where shall my help come? ² My help comes from Jehovah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth. ³ He will not give your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. ⁴ Behold, He who keeps Israel will not slumber nor sleep. ⁵ Jehovah is your keeper; Jehovah is your shade on your right hand. ⁶ The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night; ⁷ Jehovah shall keep you from all evil; He shall keep your soul. ⁸ Jehovah shall keep your going out, and your coming in, from now on and till forever.

⁶ you shall he visited from Jehovah of Hosts; with thunder and earthquake, and great noise, tempest and storm, and flame of devouring fire.

⁷ And I have also withheld the rain from you when it was yet three months to the harvest. And I caused rain to fall on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One piece was rained on, and the piece where it did not rain was dried up.

⁷ For nation will be raised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes against many places.

² But answering, He said to them, Evening coming on, you say, Clear sky, for the sky is red.

¹¹ Also there will be great earthquakes from place to place, and famines, and plagues. And also there will be terrors and great signs from Heaven.

¹⁷ you whose garments are warm when the earth is still from the south wind?

⁴ But Jehovah hurled a great wind into the sea, and there was a great storm in the sea, and the ship was thought to be broken.

⁹ Out of the storeroom comes the tempest, and cold from scattering winds.

¹⁷ Elijah was a man of like feeling to us, and he prayed in prayer for it not to rain; and it did not rain on the earth three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to sprout.

³ And at morning, Today a storm, for the sky is red, being overcast. Hypocrites! You indeed know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you cannot the signs of the times.

¹² It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom, and who stretched out the heavens by His understanding. ¹³ When He utters His voice, there is a noise of waters in the heavens. He causes the vapors to go up from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain and brings forth the wind out of His storehouses.

³ Jehovah takes long to anger, and is great of power, and He does not by any means acquit the guilty . Jehovah has His way in the tempest and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.

⁴ then I will give you rains in their season, and the land shall yield her produce, and the tree of the field shall give its fruit;

⁸ fire and hail, snow and smoke, stormy wind fulfilling His word,
