²¹ Then coming up to Him, Peter said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times? ²² Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times, but, Until seventy times seven.

³³ Do not be led astray; bad companionships ruin good habits.

¹ And the serpent was cunning above every animal of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said to the woman, Is it true that God has said, You shall not eat from any tree of the garden? ² And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, ³ but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die. ⁴ And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die, ⁵ for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil. ⁶ And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and the tree was desirable to make one wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. ⁷ And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed leaves of the fig tree, and made girdles for themselves. ⁸ And they heard the sound of Jehovah God walking up and down in the garden at the breeze of the day. And the man and his wife hid themselves from the face of Jehovah God in the middle of the trees of the garden. ⁹ And Jehovah God called to the man and said to him, Where are you? ¹⁰ And he said, I have heard Your sound in the garden, and I was afraid, for I am naked, and I hid myself. ¹¹ And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat? ¹² And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she has given to me of the tree, and I ate. ¹³ And Jehovah God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate. ¹⁴ And Jehovah God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all beasts, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. ¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. ¹⁶ He said to the woman, I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception; you shall bear sons in sorrow, and your desire shall be toward your husband; and he shall rule over you. ¹⁷ And He said to the man, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree about which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat from it, the ground shall be cursed because of you; you shall eat of it in sorrow all the days of your life. ¹⁸ And it shall bring forth thorns and thistles for you, and you shall eat the plant of the field. ¹⁹ By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return. ²⁰ And the man called the name of his wife, Eve; because she became the mother of all living. ²¹ And Jehovah God made coats of skin for the man and his wife, and clothed them. ²² And Jehovah God said, Behold! The man has become as one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put forth his hand and also take from the Tree of Life, and eat, and live forever, ²³ Jehovah God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground out of which he was taken. ²⁴ And He drove the man out. And He lodged the cherubs at the east of the Garden of Eden, and the flaming sword whirling around to guard the way of the Tree of Life.

³⁰ A healthy heart is the life of the flesh, but envy is the rottenness of the bones.

⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us;

⁵ For let this mind be in you which also was in Christ Jesus, ⁶ who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, ⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men ⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient until death, even the death of a cross. ⁹ Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, ¹⁰ that at the name of Jesus "every knee should bow," of heavenly ones, and earthly ones, and ones under the earth,

² Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

³⁴ I give a new commandment to you, that you should love one another; according as I loved you, you should also love one another. ³⁵ By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love among one another.

²⁷ But I say to you, those hearing: Love your enemies, do good to those hating you, ²⁸ bless those cursing you and pray for those insulting you. ²⁹ To those striking you on the cheek, turn the other also. And from those taking your garment, do not keep back the tunic also. ³⁰ And to everyone asking you, give. And do not ask back from those taking your things. ³¹ And according as you desire that men should do to you, you also do the same to them. ³² And if you love those who love you, what thanks is there to you? For even sinners love those who love them. ³³ And if you do good to those who do good to you, what thanks is there to you? For even the sinners do the same. ³⁴ And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what thanks is there to you? For the sinners lend to sinners so that they may receive the same. ³⁵ But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be much; and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil ones. ³⁶ Therefore, be merciful, even as your Father also is merciful.

¹⁶ Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous one has great strength, having been made effective.

¹¹ Our mouth is opened to you, Corinthians, our heart has been made larger. ¹² You are not restrained in us, but you are restrained in your own bowels. ¹³ But for the same reward, (I speak as to children), you also be made larger.

⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me. ¹⁰ Because of this, I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in dire needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I may be weak, then I am powerful.

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, greeting: ² My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials, ³ knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. ⁴ But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. ⁵ But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, who gives to all freely and with no reproach, and it will be given to Him. ⁶ But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. For the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, being driven by wind and being tossed; ⁷ for do not let that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; ⁸ he is a double-souled man, not dependable in all his ways. ⁹ But let the lowly brother rejoice in his lifting up; ¹⁰ and the rich one rejoice in his humiliation, because he will pass away like the flower of the grass. ¹¹ For the sun rose with the hot wind and dried up the grass, and its flower fell out, and the beauty of its appearance perished; so also the rich one will fade away in his ways. Isa. 40:6, 7 ¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to the ones loving Him. ¹³ Let no one being tempted say, I am tempted from God. For God is not tempted by evils, and He tempts no one. ¹⁴ But each one is tempted by his own lusts, having been drawn out and having been seduced by them . ¹⁵ Then being conceived, lust brings forth sin. And sin being fully formed brings forth death. ¹⁶ Do not go astray, my beloved brothers, ¹⁷ every act of good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Having purposed, He brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures. ¹⁹ So that, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. ²⁰ For the wrath of man does not work out the righteousness of God. ²¹ On account of this, having put aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, in meekness receive the implanted Word being able to save your souls. ²² But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ²³ Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, this one is like a man studying his natural face in a mirror; ²⁴ for he studied himself, and has gone away, and immediately he forgot of what kind he was. ²⁵ But the one looking into the perfect law of liberty, and continuing in it, this one not having become a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in his doing. ²⁶ If anyone thinks to be religious among you, yet not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, this one's religion is vain. ²⁷ Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
