¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me. ¹⁹ Going, then, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

⁴ Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. ⁵ And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. ⁶ And these words which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart. ⁷ And you shall teach them to your sons, and shall speak of them as you sit in your house, and as you walk in the way, and as you are lying down, and as you are rising up. ⁸ And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand; and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. ⁹ And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house, and on your gates.

¹³ Until I come, attend to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.

² preach the Word, be urgent in season, out of season, convict, warn, encourage with all long-suffering and teaching.

¹ My brothers do not be many teachers, knowing that we will receive greater judgment.

²³ But refuse the foolish and uninstructed questionings, knowing that they generate quarrels. ²⁴ But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing, ²⁵ in meekness teaching those who have opposed, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth, ²⁶ and they may awake out of the snare of the Devil, having been taken captive by him, so as to do the will of that one.

¹⁶ Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that the man of God may be perfected, fully furnished for every good work.
