7 And Jehovah God formed the man out of dust from the ground, and blew into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

20 teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.
1 And in the fulfilling of the day of Pentecost, they were all with one mind in the same place. 2 And suddenly a sound came out of the heaven, as being borne along by a violent wind! And it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And tongues as of fire appeared to them, being distributed, and it sat on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave ability to them to speak. 5 And Jews were living in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation of those under the heaven. 6 But this sound occurring, the multitude came together and were confounded, because they each heard them speaking in his own dialect. 7 And all were amazed and marveled, saying to one another, Behold, are not all these, those speaking, Galileans? 8 And how do we hear each in our own dialect in which we were born, 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and those living in Mesopotamia, both Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 both Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt, and the regions of Libya over against Cyrene, and the temporarily residing Romans, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabians; in our own languages we hear them speaking the great deeds of God? 12 And all were amazed and puzzled, saying to one another, What would this wish to be? 13 But ridiculing, others said, They are full of sweet wine. 14 But standing up with the Eleven, Peter lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, Men, Jews, and all those living in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen to my words: 15 For these are not drunk, as you imagine, for it is the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which has been spoken by the prophet Joel, 17 "And it shall be" in the last days, God says, "I will pour from My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy;" "and your young men shall see visions," "and your old men shall dream dreams;" 18 "and also I will pour out My Spirit on My slaves and slave women in those days," and they shall prophesy. 19 "And I will give wonders in the heaven above," and miracles "on the earth below, blood and fire and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the" "coming of the great and glorious" "day of the Lord." 21 "And it shall be that everyone who shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Joel 3:15 22 Men, Israelites, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from God, having been approved among you by powerful deeds and wonders and miracles, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know, 23 this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you having taken by lawless hands, having crucified Him, you put Him to death. 24 But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it. 25 For David said as to Him, "I always foresaw the Lord before Me, because He is at My right hand, that I not be moved. 26 For this reason My heart rejoiced, and My tongue was glad; and My flesh also will dwell on hope, 27 because You will not leave My soul in Hades, nor will You give Your Holy One to see corruption. 28 You revealed to Me paths of life; You will fill Me with joy with Your face." LXX-Psa. 15:8-11; MT-Psa. 16:8-11 29 Men, brothers, it is permitted to say to you with plainness as to the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us until this day. 30 Being a prophet, then, and knowing that God swore with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loin, as concerning flesh, to raise the Christ to sit on his throne, see Psa. 132:11 31 foreseeing, he spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, "that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption." LXX-Psa. 15:10; Mt-Psa. 16:10 32 This Jesus God raised up, of which we all are witnesses. 33 Then being exalted to the right of God, and receiving the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He poured out this which you now see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend into Heaven, but he says, "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand 35 until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet." LXX-Psa. 109:1; MT-Psa. 110:1 36 Then assuredly, let all the house of Israel acknowledge that God made Him both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus whom you crucified. 37 And hearing, they were stabbed in the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men, brothers, What shall we do? 38 And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized, each of you on the name of Jesus Christ to remission of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words he earnestly testified and exhorted, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation. 41 Then those who gladly welcomed his words were baptized. And about three thousand souls were added that day. 42 And they were continuing steadfastly in the doctrine of the apostles, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came to every soul, and many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. 44 And all the believers were together and had all things common. 45 And they sold possessions and goods and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need. 46 And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church those being saved from day to day.
17 For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us an eternal weight of glory, surpassing moment by surpassing moment;
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men; 5 and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it. 6 There was a man sent from God; his name was John. 7 He came for a witness, that he might witness concerning the Light, that all might believe through Him. 8 He was not that Light, but that he might witness concerning the Light. 9 He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, yet the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name, 13 who were born not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth. 15 John witnesses concerning Him, and has cried out, saying, This One was He of whom I said, He coming after me has been before me, for He was preceding me. 16 And out of His fullness we all received, and grace on top of grace. 17 For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him . 19 And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites that they might ask him, Who are you? 20 And he acknowledged and did not deny; yea, he acknowledged, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What, then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the Prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then they said to him, Who are you, that we may give an answer to those sending us? What do you say about yourself? 23 He said, "I am a voice crying in the wilderness:" "Make straight" "the way of the Lord," as Isaiah the prophet said. Isa. 40:3 24 And those who had been sent were of the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him and said to him, Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize in water, but One stands in your midst whom you do not know; 27 This One it is who has come after me, who has been before me, of whom I am not worthy that I should loose the thong of His sandal. 28 These things took place in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world! 30 This is He about whom I said, After me comes a Man who has been before me, for He was preceding me. 31 And I did not know Him; but that He be revealed to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water. 32 And John witnessed, saying, I have seen the Spirit coming down as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode on Him. 33 And I did not know Him, but the One sending me to baptize in water, that One said to me, On whomever you see the Spirit coming down and abiding on Him, this is the One baptizing in the Holy Spirit. 34 And I have seen and have witnessed that this One is the Son of God. 35 Again on the morrow, John and two from his disciples stood. 36 And looking at Jesus walking, he said, Behold, the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Jesus. 38 But having seen them following, Jesus said to them, What do you seek? And they said to Him, Rabbi (which being translated is called Teacher), where do You stay? 39 He said to them, Come and see. They went and saw where He stayed, and they remained with Him that day. And the hour was about the tenth. 40 Andrew the brother of Simon Peter was one of the two who heard from John and was following Him. 41 This one first found his own brother Simon and tells him, We have found the Messiah (which being translated is, the Christ). 42 And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter). 43 And on the morrow, Jesus desired to go out into Galilee. And He found Philip, and says to him, Follow me! 44 And Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip finds Nathanael and said to him, We have found the One of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth. 46 And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called, you being under the fig tree, I saw you. 49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these. 51 And He says to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, from now on you will see Heaven opened, and "the angels of God ascending and descending" on the Son of man. Gen. 28:12
6 I have said, You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High.
23 For truly I say to you, Whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and be thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be to him, whatever he says.
6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
15 Earnestly study to present yourself approved to God, a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
1 The hand of Jehovah was on me. And He brought me by the Spirit of Jehovah and made me rest in the midst of a valley, and it was full of bones. 2 And He made me pass among them all around. And, behold, very many were on the face of the valley. And, behold! They were very dry. 3 And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I said, O Lord Jehovah, You know. 4 And He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah: 5 So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live,; 6 and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And, behold, a shaking! And the bones drew near, a bone to its bone. 8 And I watched. And, behold! The sinews and the flesh came up on them, and the skin spread over them from above. But there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, Prophesy to the Spirit. Prophesy, son of man, and say to the Spirit, So says the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O Spirit, and breathe on these slain ones, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the Spirit came into them. And they lived and stood on their feet, a very great army.
14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.
25 For I, Jehovah, will speak. The word which I shall speak shall be done, it shall not be drawn out again. For in your days, O house of rebellion, I will say the word and will do it, declares the Lord Jehovah.
28 And God chose the low-born of the world, and the despised, and the things that are not, so that He might bring to nothing the things that are,
1 Now faith is the substantiation of things having been hoped, the evidence of things not having been seen. 2 For by this the elders obtained witness. 3 By faith we understand the ages to have been framed by the word of God, so that the things seen should not come into being out of things that appear. 4 By faith Abel offered a greater sacrifice to God than Cain, by which he obtained witness to be righteous, God testifying over his gifts; and through it, having died, he yet speaks. 5 By faith "Enoch" was translated so as not to see death, and "was not found, because God translated him." For before his translation, he had obtained witness to have been pleasing to God. Gen. 5:24 6 But without faith it is impossible to please God . For it is right that the one drawing near to God should believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder to the ones seeking Him out. 7 Being warned by God about the things not yet having been seen, moved with fear, by faith Noah prepared an ark for the salvation of his house; through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness according to faith. 8 Having been called out by faith, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was going to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not understanding where he went. 9 By faith he resided as a foreigner in a land of promise, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the joint-heirs of the same promise; 10 for he looked forward to a city having the foundations of which the builder and maker is God.
17 Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.
8 This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, and you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you shall be on guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall prosper your way, and then you shall act wisely.
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth; 2 and the earth being without form and empty, and darkness on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moving gently on the face of the waters, 3 then God said, Let light be! And there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good, and God separated between the light and darkness. 5 And God called the light, Day. And He called the darkness, Night. And there was evening, and there was morning the first day. 6 And God said, Let an expanse be in the midst of the waters, and let it divide between the waters and the waters. 7 And God made the expanse, and He separated between the waters which were under the expanse and the waters which were above the expanse. And it was so. 8 And God called the expanse, Heavens. And there was evening, and there was morning the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be collected to one place, and let the dry land appear. And it was so. 10 And God called the dry land, Earth. And He called the collection of the waters, Seas. And God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth sprout tender sprouts, the plant seeding seed, the fruit tree producing fruit according to its kind, whichever seed is in it on the earth. And it was so. 12 And the earth bore tender sprouts, the plant seeding seed according to its kind, and the fruit tree producing fruit according to its kind, whichever seed is in it. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning the third day. 14 And God said, Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years. 15 And let them be for luminaries in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth. And it was so. 16 And God made the two great luminaries: the great luminary to rule the day, and the small luminary and the stars to rule the night. 17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarmers having a soul of life; and let the birds fly over the earth, on the face of the expanse of the heavens. 21 And God created the great sea animals, and all that creeps, having a living soul, which swarmed the waters, according to its kind; and every bird with wing according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas; and let the birds multiply in the earth. 23 And there was evening, and there was morning the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the soul of life according to its kind: cattle, and creepers, and its beasts of the earth, according to its kind. And it was so. 25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to its kind, and cattle according to its kind, and all creepers of the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth. 27 And God created the man in His own image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female. 28 And God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over birds of the heavens, and over all beasts creeping on the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant seeding seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; it shall be food for you. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to all birds of the heavens, and to every creeper on the earth which has in it a living soul, every green plant is for food. And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that He had made and behold, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning the sixth day.
17 according as it has been written, "I have appointed you a father of many nations;" before God, whom he believed, the One making the dead live, and calling the things that are not as if they were. Gen. 17:5
34 Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man out of the good treasure of the heart puts forth good things. And the evil man out of the evil treasure puts forth evil things. 36 But I say to you, that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give an account of it in Judgment Day.
18 we not considering the things seen, but the things not being seen; for the things being seen are not lasting, but the things not being seen are everlasting.
11 so shall My word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in what I sent it to do!
22 And all things, whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what has been written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak, LXX-Psa. 115:1; MT-Psa. 116:10
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat its fruit.
22 And answering, Jesus said to them, Have faith of God. 23 For truly I say to you, Whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and be thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be to him, whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you will receive, and it will be to you.
