¹ Praise Jehovah! Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.

³⁰ I will greatly thank Jehovah with my mouth; yea, I will praise Him in the midst of the multitude.

¹ Praise Jehovah; for it is good to sing praise to our God; because praise is delightful and becoming. ² Jehovah builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. ³ He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their sorrows. ⁴ He appoints the number of the stars; He calls to them all by names. ⁵ Our Lord is great and of great might; there is no limit to His understanding. ⁶ Jehovah relieves the meek; He throws the wicked down to the ground. ⁷ Sing to Jehovah with thanksgiving; sing praise on the lyre to our God, ⁸ who covers the heavens with clouds; who prepares rain for the earth; who makes grass to grow on the mountains. ⁹ He gives the animals their food, to the young ravens that cry. ¹⁰ He takes no delight in the strength of the horse, nor any pleasure in the legs of a man. ¹¹ Jehovah takes pleasure in those who fear Him, those who hope in His mercy. ¹² Praise Jehovah, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion. ¹³ For He has made strong the bars of your gates; He has blessed your sons within you. ¹⁴ He makes peace in your border, He satisfies you with the fat of the wheat. ¹⁵ He sends His command out on the earth; His word runs very swiftly; ¹⁶ He gives snow like wool; He scatters the white frost like ashes; ¹⁷ He casts out His ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold? ¹⁸ He sends out His word and melts them; He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow. ¹⁹ He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel. ²⁰ He has not done so with any nation; and they have not known His judgments. Praise Jehovah!

¹ Praise Jehovah! Praise Jehovah from the heavens; praise Him in the heights. ² Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts. ³ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars of light. ⁴ Praise Him, O heavens of heavens; and O waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of Jehovah; for He commanded, and they were created. ⁶ And He established them forever and ever; He gave a decree that they not pass away. ⁷ Let the sea-monsters and all deeps praise Jehovah from the earth, ⁸ fire and hail, snow and smoke, stormy wind fulfilling His word, ⁹ mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars, ¹⁰ beasts and all livestock, creeping things and birds of the wing, ¹¹ kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth, ¹² young men and virgins too, old men and youths. ¹³ Let them praise the name of Jehovah; for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heavens. ¹⁴ He also lifts up the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints, of the sons of Israel, a people near to Him, Praise Jehovah.

¹ A Psalm of Thanksgiving. Shout joyfully to Jehovah, all the land. ² Worship Jehovah with gladness; come before His face with joyful singing. ³ Know that Jehovah, He is God; He has made us, and not we ourselves, His people and the sheep of His pasture. ⁴ Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him; bless His name. ⁵ For Jehovah is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His faithfulness to generation and generation.

¹⁵ Then through Him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God always, that is, the fruit of the lips, confessing to His name.

¹ Praise Jehovah! Praise God in His holy place; praise Him in the expanse of His might. ² Praise Him in His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness. ³ Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the harp and lyre. ⁴ Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with strings and pipes. ⁵ Praise Him on the sounding cymbals; praise Him with the resounding cymbals. ⁶ Let everything that breathes praise Jehovah. Praise Jehovah!
