¹⁵ Now behold Behemoth, which I made along with you; he eats grass like an ox; ¹⁶ see, now, his strength is in his loins, and his force in the muscles of his belly; ¹⁷ he hangs his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together; ¹⁸ his bones are like tubes of bronze; his bones like bars of iron; ¹⁹ he is the first in the ways of God; his Maker brings near his sword. ²⁰ For the mountains yield food for him, and all the beasts of the field play there.

²¹ His breath kindles coals and the flame goes out from his mouth.

⁸ A smoke went up out of His nostrils, and fire devoured out of His mouth; coals were kindled from it.

¹ And a great sign was seen in the heavens, a woman having been clothed with the sun, and the moon was underneath her feet; and on her head a crown of twelve stars; ² and having a babe in womb. She cries, being in labor, and having been distressed to bear. ³ And another sign was seen in the heavens. And, behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns! And on his heads were seven diadems, ⁴ and his tail drew the third part of the stars of the heaven, and he throws them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman being about to bear, so that when she bears he might devour her child. ⁵ And she bore a son, a male, who is going to shepherd all the nations with an iron staff. And her child was caught away to God, and to His throne. ⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place, it having been prepared from God, that there they might nourish her a thousand two hundred and sixty days. ⁷ And war occurred in Heaven, Michael and his angels making war against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels made war, ⁸ but they did not have strength, nor yet was place found for them in Heaven. ⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers is thrown down, the one accusing them before our God day and night. ¹¹ And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul even until death. ¹² Because of this, be glad, the heavens and those tabernacling in them. Woe to the ones dwelling on the earth, and in the sea, because the Devil came down to you having great anger, knowing that he has a little time! ¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast out onto the earth, he pursued the woman who bore the male. ¹⁴ And two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness, to her place, where she is nourished there a time, and times, and half a time, away from the serpent's face. ¹⁵ And the serpent threw water out of his mouth like a river after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried off by the river. ¹⁶ And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river which the dragon threw out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, those keeping the commandments of God, and having the testimony of Jesus Christ.

¹ And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain on his hand. ² And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and sealed over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled. And after these things, he must be set loose a little time.

¹ {cf9 : And I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten diadems, and on its heads names of blasphemy.} ² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and its feet as of a bear, and its mouth as a lion's mouth. And the dragon gave its power to it, and its throne, and great authority. ³ And I saw one of its heads, as having been slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed. And all the earth marveled after the beast. ⁴ And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast; who is able to make war with it? ⁵ And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to it. And authority to act forty two months was given to it. ⁶ And it opened its mouth in blasphemy toward God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those tabernacling in Heaven. ⁷ And it was given to it "to war with the saints, and to overcome them." And authority was given to it over every tribe and tongue and nation. Dan. 7:21 ⁸ And all those dwelling in the earth will worship it, those of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world. ⁹ If anyone has an ear, let him hear. ¹⁰ If anyone gathers captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone will kill by a sword, by a sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. ¹¹ And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. And it had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. ¹² And it executes all the authority of the first beast before it. And it causes that the earth and those dwelling in it should worship the first beast, of which was healed its deadly wound. ¹³ And it does great signs, that even fire it causes to come down out of the heaven onto the earth before men. ¹⁴ And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the signs which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast who has the wound of the sword, and lived. ¹⁵ And was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ And the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the freemen and the slaves, it causes that they give to them all a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ even that not any could buy or sell, except the one having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name. ¹⁸ Here is wisdom: Let the one having reason count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man and its number is six hundred and sixty six.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent being called Devil, and, Satan; he deceiving the whole habitable world was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹ In that day Jehovah shall visit the sea monster, the darting serpent, with His great and fierce and strong sword; even on the sea monster, the twisting serpent; and He shall slay the monster that is in the sea.

And judgment was given to them, and the souls of the ones having been beheaded because of the witness of Jesus, and because of the Word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast nor its image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. ⁵ But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. ⁶ Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years. ⁷ And whenever the thousand years are ended, Satan will be set loose out of his prison, ⁸ and he will go to mislead the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them in war, whose number is as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up over the breadth of the land and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire from God came down out of Heaven and burned them down. ¹⁰ And the Devil leading them astray was thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were . And they were tormented day and night forever and ever. ¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and the One sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled; and a place was not found for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, the small and the great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works. ¹³ And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and Hades gave up the dead in them. And they were each judged according to their works. ¹⁴ And death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. ¹⁵ And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire.

⁷ And whenever the thousand years are ended, Satan will be set loose out of his prison,
