Bible verses about "conviction" | LITV

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Acts 2:37

37 And hearing, they were stabbed in the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men, brothers, What shall we do?

John 16:8

8 And when that One comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.

John 3:19-21

19 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. 20 For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed. 21 But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

2 Corinthians 7:9-10

9 Now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved to repentance. For you were grieved according to God, that you might suffer loss in nothing by us. 10 For the grief according to God works repentance to salvation, not to be regretted. But the grief of the world works out death.
