⁶ For the Lord had caused the Syrian army to hear a sound of chariots, and a sound of horses, and a sound of a great army. And they said to one another, Behold, the king of Israel has hired the kings of the Hittites against us, and the kings of Egypt, to come against us.

³ Know that Jehovah, He is God; He has made us, and not we ourselves, His people and the sheep of His pasture.

⁴³ Then the righteous will shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one having ears to hear, let him hear.

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, greeting: ² My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials, ³ knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. ⁴ But let patience have its perfective work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. ⁵ But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, who gives to all freely and with no reproach, and it will be given to Him. ⁶ But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. Isa. 40:6, 7 ¹² Blessed is the man who endures temptation, because having been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to the ones loving Him. ¹³ Let no one being tempted say, I am tempted from God. For God is not tempted by evils, and He tempts no one. ¹⁴ But each one is tempted by his own lusts, having been drawn out and having been seduced by them . ¹⁵ Then being conceived, lust brings forth sin. And sin being fully formed brings forth death. ¹⁶ Do not go astray, my beloved brothers, ¹⁷ every act of good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Having purposed, He brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures. ¹⁹ So that, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. ²⁰ For the wrath of man does not work out the righteousness of God. ²¹ On account of this, having put aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, in meekness receive the implanted Word being able to save your souls. ²² But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ²³ Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, this one is like a man studying his natural face in a mirror; ²⁴ for he studied himself, and has gone away, and immediately he forgot of what kind he was. ²⁵ But the one looking into the perfect law of liberty, and continuing in it, this one not having become a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in his doing. ²⁶ If anyone thinks to be religious among you, yet not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, this one's religion is vain. ²⁷ Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

¹⁶ Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

¹¹ For I know the purposes which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace, and not for evil; to give you a future and a hope.

¹ Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of Jehovah revealed? ² For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor magnificence that we should see Him; nor form that we should desire Him. ³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him. ⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us. ⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth. ⁸ He was taken from prison and from justice; and who shall consider His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; from the transgression of My people, the stroke was to Him. ⁹ And He put His grave with the wicked; and with a rich man in His death; although He had done no violence, and deceit was not in His mouth. ¹⁰ But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that If He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand. ¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Because of this I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was counted with transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

¹² But from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent seize it.

¹ Then being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁸ through all prayer and petition, praying at every time in the Spirit, and watching to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.

¹² For the word of God is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart;

¹ Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; because His mercy endures forever. ² Let Israel say now that His mercy endures forever. ³ Let the house of Aaron say now that His mercy endures forever. ⁴ Let those who fear Jehovah say now that His mercy endures forever. ⁵ I called Jehovah from the distress; He answered me in the large place of Jehovah. ⁶ Jehovah is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me? ⁷ Jehovah is for me among those who help me, and I shall see my desire on those who hate me. ⁸ It is better to trust in Jehovah than to trust in man; ⁹ it is better to trust in Jehovah than to trust in princes. ¹⁰ All the nations surround me; but surely I will destroy them in the name of Jehovah. ¹¹ They surround me; yea, they surround me; I surely will destroy them in the name of Jehovah. ¹² they surround me like bees; they are quenched like the fire of thorns; for surely I will cut them off in the name of Jehovah. ¹³ Pushing, you pushed me to fall; but Jehovah helped me. ¹⁴ Jehovah is my strength and my song; and He is my salvation. ¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of Jehovah works mightily. ¹⁶ The right hand of Jehovah is exalted; the right hand of Jehovah acts mightily. ¹⁷ I shall not die, but I shall live and declare the works of Jehovah. ¹⁸ Jehovah has grievously chastened me, but He has not given me to death.

¹ Of David. Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all within me, bless His holy name. ² Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all His rewards; ³ who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; ⁴ who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with kindness and tender mercies; ⁵ who satisfies your desire with good; your youth is renewed like the eagle's. ⁶ Jehovah works righteousness and judgments for all the oppressed. ⁷ He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel. ⁸ Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and of much mercy. ⁹ He will not always chasten, nor will He keep His anger forever. ¹⁰ He has not done to us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. ¹¹ For as the heavens are above the earth, so is His mercy mighty over those who fear Him. ¹² As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. ¹³ As the pity of a father over his sons, so Jehovah pities those who fear Him. ¹⁴ For He knows how we are made, remembering that we are dust. ¹⁵ As for man, his days are as grass; as the flower of the field, so he flourishes. ¹⁶ For the wind passes over it, and it is not; and its place never knows it again. ¹⁷ But the mercy of Jehovah is from everlasting, even to everlasting, on those who fear Him; yea, His righteousness is to the sons of sons; ¹⁸ to those who keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments, to do them. ¹⁹ Jehovah has prepared His throne in Heaven; and His kingdom rules over all. ²⁰ Bless Jehovah, O angels of His; mighty in strength; doing His word; listening to the voice of His word. ²¹ Bless Jehovah, all His hosts, ministers of His, doing His will. ²² Bless Jehovah, all His works in all the places of His dominion; bless Jehovah, O my soul.

¹³ He breaking up has come before them; they have broken up and have passed through the gate and have gone out of it. And their king shall pass before them, and Jehovah at their head.

³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples. ³² And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

³ Blessed is the one reading, and those hearing the words of this prophecy, and keeping the things having been written; for the time is near.

¹² because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenlies.
