²⁷ And God created the man in His own image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

¹⁰ And Moses said to Jehovah, O Lord, I am not a man of words, either from yesterday or the third day, nor since You have been speaking to Your bondslave. And am I not detesting those rising against You? ²² I hate them with a perfect hatred; they have become my enemies. ²³ Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts; ²⁴ and see if any wicked way is in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.

² And having called forward a little child, Jesus set him in their midst. ³ And He said, Truly I say to you, Unless you convert and become as the little children, not at all can you enter into the kingdom of Heaven. ⁴ Then whoever will humble himself as this little child, this one is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven. ⁵ And whoever will receive one such little child in My name receives Me.

How long shall I endure you? Bring him to Me. ²⁰ And they brought him to Him. And seeing Him, the spirit immediately convulsed him. And falling on the ground, he wallowed, foaming. ²¹ And He questioned his father, How long a time is it while this has happened to him? And he said, From childhood. ²² And often it threw him both into fire and into water, that it might destroy him. But if You are able to do anything, help us, having pity on us. ²³ And Jesus said to him, If you are able to believe, all things are possible to those believing. ²⁴ And immediately crying out, the father of the child said with tears, Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief! ²⁵ And seeing that a crowd is running together, Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you, Come out from him, and you may no more go into him! ²⁶ And crying out, and convulsing him very much, it came out. And he became as if dead, so as for many to say that he died. ²⁷ But taking hold of his hand, Jesus raised him up, and he stood up. ²⁸ And He entering into a house, His disciples questioned Him privately, Why were we not able to cast it out? ²⁹ And He said to them, This kind can go out by nothing except by prayer and fasting.

How long will I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me. ¹⁸ And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out from him; and the boy was healed from that hour.

For there is no one who shall do a work of power in My name, yet be able to speak evil of Me quickly. ⁴⁰ For who is not against us is for us. ⁴¹ For whoever gives you a cup of cold water to drink in My name, because you are of Christ, truly I say to you, In no way he will lose his reward. ⁴² And whoever causes one of these little ones that believe in Me to offend, it is good for him if rather a millstone be laid about his neck, and he be thrown into the sea. ⁴³ And if your hand offend you, cut it off. For it is profitable for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go away into Hell, into the fire that cannot be put out, ⁴⁴ where their worm does not die, and the fire is not put out. ⁴⁵ And if your foot causes you to offend, cut it off, for it is profitable for you to enter into life lame, than having two feet to be thrown into Hell, into the fire that cannot be put out, ⁴⁶ where their worm does not die, and the fire is not put out. ⁴⁷ And if your eye offends you, cast it out. For it is profitable for you to enter into the kingdom of God one-eyed, than having two eyes to be thrown into the Hell of fire, ⁴⁸ "where their worm does not die and the fire is not put out." Isa. 66:24 ⁴⁹ For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be salted with salt. ⁵⁰ Salt is good, but if the salt becomes saltless, by what will you season? Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another.

⁴⁷ And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come that I might judge the world, but that I might save the world.

⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.

¹⁸ For I know that in me, that is in my flesh, dwells no good. For to will is present to me, but to work out the good I do not find.

¹⁰ Because of this, I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in dire needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for the sake of Christ. For when I may be weak, then I am powerful.

¹³ and all your sons will be taught of Jehovah; and the peace of your sons will be great.

² And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is the good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

¹¹ For I know the purposes which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace, and not for evil; to give you a future and a hope.

¹⁸ But now God set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He desired.

²⁶ For you see your calling, brothers, that there are not many wise according to flesh, nor many powerful, not many wellborn. ²⁷ But God chose the foolish things of the world that the wise might be put to shame, and God chose the weak things of the world so that He might put to shame the strong things. ²⁸ And God chose the low-born of the world, and the despised, and the things that are not, so that He might bring to nothing the things that are, ²⁹ so that no flesh might glory in His presence.

¹¹ And Jehovah said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or the deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? is it not I, Jehovah?

¹ And passing by, He saw a man blind from birth. ² And His disciples asked Him, saying, Teacher, who sinned, this one, or his parents, that he was born blind? ³ Jesus answered, Neither this one nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God might be revealed in him.
