¹ For the music director, according to Do Not Destroy. A psalm of Asaph. A song.*
We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, and your name is near. Your wonderful deeds are told.*

⁶ For a child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. And the dominion will be on his shoulder, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

¹¹ And it happened that while traveling toward Jerusalem, he was passing through _⌊the region between_⌋* Samaria and Galilee. ¹² And as* he was entering into a certain village, ten men met him**—lepers, who stood at a distance. ¹³ And they raised their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" ¹⁴ And when he* saw them* he said to them, "Go and* show yourselves to the priests." And it happened that as they were going, they were cleansed. ¹⁵ But one of them, when he* saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. ¹⁶ And he fell on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him. And he was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ So Jesus answered and* said, "Were not ten cleansed? And where are the nine? ¹⁸ Was no one found to turn back and* give praise to God except this foreigner?" ¹⁹ And he said to him, "Get up and* go your way. Your faith has saved you."

¹² Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world! The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

¹ Brothers, even if a person is caught in some trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of humility, looking out for yourself, lest you also be tempted.

²⁰ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, and that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

³ Yahweh has done great things for us; we are glad.

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in this present age not to be proud and not to put their hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in God, who provides us all things richly for enjoyment, ¹⁸ to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, sharing freely, ¹⁹ storing up for themselves a good foundation for the future, in order that they may take hold of what is truly life.

⁶ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. ⁷ And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds* in Christ Jesus.

Bless Yahweh, O my soul, and all within me, bless his holy name. ² Bless Yahweh, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits:

⁷ I will mention the loyal love of Yahweh, the praises of Yahweh, according to all that Yahweh has done for us, and the greatness of goodness to the house of Israel that he has done to them according to his mercy and the abundance of his loyal love.

³ From afar Yahweh appeared to me, saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love. _⌊Therefore_⌋* I have drawn you with loyal love.

²⁸ for in him we live and move and exist,* as even some of _⌊your own_⌋* poets have said: 'For we also are _⌊his_⌋* offspring.'*

¹¹ And you shall celebrate with all of the bounty that Yahweh your God gave to you and to your family, you and the Levite and the alien who is in your midst.

³ Know that Yahweh, he is God; he made us and we are his.* We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. ⁴ Enter his gates with thanksgiving, his courts with praise. Give thanks to him; bless his name.

²⁸ Therefore, since we* are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be thankful, through which let us serve God acceptably, with awe and reverence.

¹⁸ give thanks in everything; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
