¹ Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judges: for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you that judge are doing the same things. ² But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who commit such things. ³ And think you this, O man, that judge those who do such things, and are doing the same, that you shall escape the judgment of God? ⁴ Or do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up unto yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; ⁶ Who will render to every man according to his deeds: ⁷ To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: ⁸ But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, ⁹ Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; ¹⁰ But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: ¹¹ For there is no respect of persons with God. ¹² For as many as have sinned outside law shall also perish outside law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; ¹³ (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. ¹⁴ For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: ¹⁵ Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) ¹⁶ In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. ¹⁷ Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the law, and make your boast of God, ¹⁸ And know his will, and approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; ¹⁹ And are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, ²⁰ An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. ²¹ You therefore which teach another, teach you not yourself? you that preach a man should not steal, do you steal? ²² You that say a man should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? you that abhor idols, do you commit sacrilege? ²³ You that make your boast of the law, through breaking the law do you dishonor God? ²⁴ For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. ²⁵ For circumcision truthfully profits, if you keep the law: but if you be a breaker of the law, your circumcision is made uncircumcision. ²⁶ Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? ²⁷ And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision do transgress the law? ²⁸ For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: ²⁹ But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

¹² So speak you, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. ¹³ For he shall have judgment without mercy, that has showed no mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment.

¹ Judge not, that you be not judged.

³⁷ Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven:

¹ Him that is weak in the faith receive you, but not to doubtful disputations. ² For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs. ³ Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him. ⁴ Who are you that judges another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand. ⁵ One man esteems one day above another: another esteems every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. ⁶ He that regards the day, regards it unto the Lord; and he that regards not the day, to the Lord he does not regard it. He that eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he that eats not, to the Lord he eats not, and gives God thanks. ⁷ For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. ⁸ For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. ⁹ For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. ¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? or why do you set at nought your brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. ¹¹ For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. ¹² So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. ¹³ Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. ¹⁴ I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. ¹⁵ But if your brother be grieved with your food, now you do not walk charitably. Do not destroy him with your food, for whom Christ died. ¹⁶ Let not then your good be evil spoken of: ¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not food and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. ¹⁸ For he that in these things serves Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. ¹⁹ Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things with which one may edify another. ²⁰ For food destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eats with offense. ²¹ It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak. ²² Have you faith? have it to yourself before God. Happy is he that condemns not himself in that thing which he allows. ²³ And he that doubts is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

¹ Judge not, that you be not judged. ² For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete out, it shall be measured back to you again. ³ And why do you behold the speck that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye? ⁴ Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the speck out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye? ⁵ You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the speck out of your brother's eye.
