²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: ²⁵ Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. ²⁶ For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: ²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is shameful, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was fitting.

¹ Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whosoever you are that judge: for in what you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you that judge do the same things. ² But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them who commit such things. ³ And do you think, O man, that judge them who do such things, and do the same, that you shall escape the judgment of God? ⁴ Or despise you the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart treasure up unto yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; ⁶ Who will render to every man according to his deeds: ⁷ To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: ⁸ But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, ⁹ Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek; ¹⁰ But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek: ¹¹ For there is no respect of persons with God. ¹² For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; ¹³ (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. ¹⁴ For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: ¹⁵ Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) ¹⁶ In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. ¹⁷ Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the law, and make your boast of God, ¹⁸ And know his will, and approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; ¹⁹ And are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light of them who are in darkness, ²⁰ An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, who has the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. ²¹ You therefore who teach another, can you not teach yourself? you that preach a man should not steal, do you steal? ²² You that say a man should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? you that abhor idols, do you commit sacrilege? ²³ You that make your boast of the law, through breaking the law do you dishonor God? ²⁴ For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. ²⁵ For circumcision verily profits, if you keep the law: but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision is made uncircumcision. ²⁶ Therefore if the uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? ²⁷ And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision do transgress the law? ²⁸ For he is not a Jew, who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: ²⁹ But he is a Jew, who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

⁷ For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man has his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. ⁸ I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. ⁹ But if they cannot have self-control, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

¹² There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who are you that judge another?

⁹ Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, ¹⁰ For fornicators, for homosexuals, for slave traders, for liars, for perjurers, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

³⁹ And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

⁸ But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

⁸ Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. ⁹ For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. ¹⁰ Love works no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

⁷ Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after unnatural lust, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

⁴ Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

²² You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman: it is abomination.

⁹ Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, ¹⁰ Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
