²⁰ For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

⁴ For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

²¹ Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

¹⁵ He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from looking upon evil; ¹⁶ He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given, his waters shall be sure. ¹⁷ Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty; they shall behold a land stretching afar.

¹ Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, ² through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ³ And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations; knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness, ⁴ and stedfastness, approvedness, and approvedness, hope: ⁵ and hope putteth not to shame, because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.

²⁹ If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.

⁷ Little children, let no man lead you astray; he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:
