¹⁰ (46:11) 'Let be, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'

²⁸ Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? His discernment is past searching out. ²⁹ He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might He increaseth strength. ³⁰ Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; ³¹ But they that wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

²⁵ For I have satiated the weary soul, and every pining soul have I replenished.

¹ Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it. ² For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they; but the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard. ³ For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he hath said, As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest; although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. ⁴ For he hath said somewhere of the seventh day on this wise, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works, ⁵ and in this place again, They shall not enter into my rest. ⁶ Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience, ⁷ he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said), To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts. ⁸ For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. ⁹ There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God. ¹⁰ For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. ¹¹ Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.

²¹ Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest; in plowing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

⁷ Resign thyself unto the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

⁸ (4:9) In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; for Thou, LORD, makest me dwell alone in safety.

¹⁵ For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: in sitting still and rest shall ye be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; and ye would not.

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

³¹ And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

² It is vain for you that ye rise early, and sit up late, ye that eat the bread of toil; so He giveth unto His beloved in sleep.

¹⁴ And He said: 'My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.'

²⁸ Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
