²² Cast on the LORD whatever he sends your way, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

¹ Jesus the Way to the Father “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.

¹⁹ And my God will fully supply your every need according to his glorious riches in the Messiah Jesus.

²⁸ “Come to me, all of you who are weary and loaded down with burdens, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Place my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest for your souls, ³⁰ because my yoke is pleasant, and my burden is light.”

²⁷ Can any of you add a single hour to the length of your life by worrying?

²⁷ I’m leaving you at peace. I’m giving you my own peace. I’m not giving it to you as the world gives. So don’t let your hearts be troubled, and don’t be afraid.

⁶ Never worry about anything. Instead, in every situation let your petitions be made known to God through prayers and requests, with thanksgiving.

²⁵ A person’s anxiety weighs down his heart, but an appropriate word is encouraging.

³³ But first be concerned about God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all of these things will be provided for you as well. ³⁴ So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

¹³ I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

⁶ Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you. ⁷ Throw all your worry on him, because he cares for you.

²⁵ Stop Worrying
“That’s why I’m telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will drink—or about your body—what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn’t it, and the body more than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren’t you? ²⁷ Can any of you add a single hour to the length of your life by worrying? ²⁸ And why do you worry about clothes? Consider the lilies in the field and how they grow. They don’t work or spin yarn, ²⁹ but I tell you that not even Solomon in all of his splendor was clothed like one of them. ³⁰ Now if that is the way God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and thrown into an oven tomorrow, won’t he clothe you much better—you who have little faith?
³¹ “So don’t ever worry by saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ ³² because it is the unbelievers who are eager for all those things. Surely your heavenly Father knows that you need all of them! ³³ But first be concerned about God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all of these things will be provided for you as well. ³⁴ So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself.
