³⁴ Now that the Son of Man has come, he does eat and drink, and you say, 'Look at him! A glutton and a drinker, the companion of tax-collectors and irreligious people!'

⁸ Assistants, in turn, must be serious, straightforward men, not addicted to wine or dishonest gain,

⁹ Do you not know that wrongdoers will not have any share in God's kingdom? Do not let anyone mislead you. There is no law against such things! ²⁴ Those who belong to Jesus the Christ have crucified the physical nature with its propensities and cravings. ²⁵ If we live by the Spirit, let us be guided by the Spirit.
