³⁶ Thou hast also giuen me the shield of thy saluation, and thy louing kindnesse hath caused me to increase.

¹¹ He shall feede his flocke like a shepheard: he shall gather the lambes with his arme, and cary them in his bosome, and shall guide them with young.

² With all humblenesse of minde, and meekenesse, with long suffering, supporting one an other through loue,

⁴ Loue suffreth long: it is bountifull: loue enuieth not: loue doeth not boast it selfe: it is not puffed vp: ⁵ It doeth no vncomely thing: it seeketh not her owne things: it is not prouoked to anger: it thinketh not euill:

²² But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth,

¹⁹ Wherefore my deare brethren, let euery man be swift to heare, slowe to speake, and slowe to wrath. ²⁰ For the wrath of man doeth not accomplish the righteousnesse of God.

²⁹ Take my yoke on you, and learne of me that I am meeke and lowly in heart: and ye shall finde rest vnto your soules.

²² But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth, ²³ Meekenesse, temperancie: against such there is no lawe.

¹ Brethren, if a man be suddenly taken in any offence, ye which are spirituall, restore such one with the spirit of meekenes, considering thy selfe, least thou also be tempted.

¹ A soft answere putteth away wrath: but grieuous wordes stirre vp anger.

¹⁷ But the wisedome that is from aboue, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easie to be intreated, full of mercie and good fruites, without iudging, and without hipocrisie.

²⁴ But the seruant of ye Lord must not striue, but must be gentle toward all men, apt to teache, suffering the euill, ²⁵ Instructing them with meekenesse that are contrary minded, prouing if God at any time will giue them repentance, that they may acknowledge the trueth, ²⁶ And come to amendment out of that snare of the deuil, of whom they are taken prisoners, to doe his will.

¹⁵ But sanctifie the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready alwayes to giue an answere to euery man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekenesse and reuerence,

² That they speake euill of no man, that they be no fighters, but soft, shewing all meekenesse vnto all men.
