²⁵ If thou lende money to my people, that is, to the poore with thee, thou shalt not bee as an vsurer vnto him: yee shall not oppresse him with vsurie. ²⁶ If thou take thy neighbours rayment to pledge, thou shalt restore it vnto him before the sunne go downe: ²⁷ For that is his couering only, and this is his garment for his skin: wherin shall he sleepe? therefore when he crieth vnto mee, I will heare him: for I am mercifull.

¹² The Lord shall open vnto thee his good treasure, euen the heauen to giue rayne vnto thy kind in due season, and to blesse all the worke of thine handes: and thou shalt lende vnto many nations, but shalt not borow thy selfe.

²⁰ In the house of the wise is a pleasant treasure and oyle: but a foolish man deuoureth it.

³³ But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you.

¹⁰ He that is faithfull in the least, hee is also faithful in much: and he that is vniust in the least, is vniust also in much.

¹³ There hath no tentation taken you, but such as appertaine to man: and God is faithfull, which will not suffer you to be tempted aboue that you be able, but wil euen giue the issue with the tentation, that ye may be able to beare it.

²² The good man shall giue inheritance vnto his childrens children: and the riches of the sinner is layde vp for the iust.

²⁶ Be not thou of them that touch the hand, nor among them that are suretie for debts.

²⁴ No man can serue two masters: for eyther he shall hate the one, and loue the other, or els he shall leane to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serue God and riches.

¹¹ If then ye haue not ben faithful in the wicked riches, who wil trust you in the true treasure?

⁶ Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes. ⁷ And the peace of God which passeth all vnderstanding, shall preserue your heartes and mindes in Christ Iesus.

⁸ If there bee any that prouideth not for his owne, and namely for them of his housholde, hee denieth the faith, and is worse then an infidell.

²⁸ For which of you minding to builde a towre, sitteth not downe before, and counteth the cost, whether hee haue sufficient to performe it,

²¹ The wicked boroweth and payeth not againe. but the righteous is mercifull, and giueth.

⁸ Owe nothing to any man, but to loue one another: for he that loueth another, hath fulfilled the Lawe.

⁷ Giue to all men therefore their duetie: tribute, to whome yee owe tribute: custome, to whom custome: feare, to whome feare: honour, to whom ye owe honour.

⁷ The rich ruleth the poore, and the borower is seruant to the man that lendeth.
