²⁵ Then Moses commanded the Leuites, which bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, saying, ²⁶ Take the booke of this Lawe, and put ye it in the side of the Arke of the couenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witnes against thee. ²⁷ For I knowe thy rebellion and thy stiffe necke: beholde, I being yet aliue with you this day, ye are rebellious against the Lord: howe much more then after my death? ²⁸ Gather vnto me all the Elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speake these wordes in their audience, and call heauen and earth to recorde against them. ²⁹ For I am sure that after my death ye will vtterly be corrupt and turne from the way, which I haue commanded you: therefore euill will come vpon you at the length, because ye will comit euill in the sight of the Lord, by prouoking him to anger through the worke of your hands.

¹⁰ For thou wilt not leaue my soule in the graue: neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption.

³³ These thinges haue I spoken vnto you, that in me ye might haue peace: in the world ye shall haue affliction, but be of good comfort: I haue ouercome the world.

³⁴ Nowe as concerning that he raised him vp from the dead, no more to returne to corruption, he hath said thus, I wil giue you the holy things of Dauid, which are faithfull. ³⁵ Wherefore hee sayeth also in another place, Thou wilt not suffer thine Holy one to see corruption. ³⁶ Howbeit, Dauid after hee had serued his time by the counsell of God, hee slept, and was laid with his fathers, and sawe corruption. ³⁷ But he whom God raised vp, sawe no corruption.

²⁷ Because thou wilt not leaue my soule in graue, neither wilt suffer thine Holy one to see corruption.

² And fashion not your selues like vnto this worlde, but bee yee changed by the renewing of your minde, that ye may prooue what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is.

² I knowe thy workes, and thy labour, and thy patience, and howe thou canst not beare with them which are euill, and hast examined them which say they are Apostles, and are not, and hast found the liars.

¹³ For such false apostles are deceitfull workers, and transforme themselues into the Apostles of Christ. ¹⁴ And no marueile: for Satan himselfe is transformed into an Angel of light. ¹⁵ Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers transforme themselues, as though they were the ministers of righteousnes, whose end shall be according to their workes.

²¹ Because the creature also shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertie of the sonnes of God.

⁴ Whereby most great and precious promises are giuen vnto vs, that by them ye should be partakers of the diuine nature, in that ye flee the corruption, which is in the worlde through lust.

⁸ For hee that soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reape corruption: but hee that soweth to the spirit, shall of the spirit reape life euerlasting.

¹⁹ Promising vnto them libertie, and are themselues the seruants of corruption: for of whomsoeuer a man is ouercome, euen vnto the same is he in bondage.
