THE PETITION OF SOVEREIGNESS ESTER
And so be it, on the third day, Ester enrobes her sovereigndom; and stands in the inner court of the house of the sovereign, opposite the house of the sovereign; and the sovereign settles on the throne of his sovereigndom in the house of the sovereigndom, opposite the portal of the house. 2 And so be it, the sovereign sees Ester the sovereigness stand in the court, and she receives charism in his eyes; and the sovereign extends the golden scion in his hand to Ester: and Ester approaches and touches the top of the scion. 3 And the sovereign says to her, What to you, sovereigness Ester? And what is your request? so be it even given you to the half of the sovereigndom. 4 And Ester says, If it be good to the sovereign, may the sovereign and Haman come this day to the banquet I worked for him. 5 And the sovereign says, Have Haman hasten to work as Ester words. - and the sovereign and Haman come to the banquet Ester worked. 6 And the sovereign says to Ester at the banquet of wine, What is your petition? and so be it given you? And what is your request? - even to the half of the sovereigndom so be it worked. 7 And Ester answers and says, My petition and my request is; 8 If I find charism in the eyes of the sovereign and if it is good with the sovereign to give my petition and to work my request, may the sovereign and Haman come to the banquet I work for them; and tomorrow I work according to the word of the sovereign. 9
HAMAN FILLED WITH FURY
And that day Haman goes - cheerful and with a good heart; and Haman sees Mordekay in the portal of the sovereign; that he neither rises nor agitates for him, he is filled with fury against Mordekay. 10 And Haman restrains himself; and comes to his house: and he sends and calls for his loved ones and Zeresh his woman: 11 and Haman scribes them of the honor of his riches and the abundance of his sons and all those wherein the sovereign greatens him; and how he lifts him above the governors and servants of the sovereign. 12 And Haman says, Yes, Ester the sovereigness has no man come in with the sovereign to the banquet she works, except me; and tomorrow also I am called to her with the sovereign. 13 And all this equates me naught, all the time I see Mordekay the Yah Hudiy settling at the portal of the sovereign. 14 And Zeresh his woman and all his loved ones say to him, Work a tree fifty cubits high; and in the morning say to the sovereign to hang Mordekay thereon; then go in cheerfully with the sovereign to the banquet. - and the word well-pleases the face of Haman; and he works the tree.
