HALLOWING THE PRIESTS
And this is the word you work to them to hallow them - to priest the priesthood to me: take one bullock son of the oxen and two integrious rams ² and matsah and matsah cakes mingled with oil and matsah wafers anointed with oil; work them of wheaten flour: ³ and give them into one basket and oblate them in the basket with the bullock and the two rams: ⁴ and oblate Aharon and his sons to the opening of the tent of the congregation; and baptize them with water: ⁵ and take the clothes and put the coat and the mantle of the ephod and the ephod and the breastplate on Aharon; and gird him with the fabricated girdle of the ephod: ⁶ and give the tiara on his head and give the holy separatism on the tiara: ⁷ and take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him. ⁸ And oblate his sons and put coats on them: ⁹ and gird Aharon and his sons with girdles and bind the turbans on them: and the priesthood becomes theirs for an eternal statute: and fill the hand of Aharon and the hand of his sons. ¹⁰ And oblate a bullock at the face of the tent of the congregation: and Aharon and his sons prop their hands on the head of the bullock: ¹¹ and you slaughter the bullock at the face of Yah Veh by the opening of the tent of the congregation: ¹² and take of the blood of the bullock and give it on the horns of the sacrifice altar with your finger; and pour all the blood at the foundation of the sacrifice altar: ¹³ and take all the fat covering the inwards and the caul above the liver and the two reins and the fat on them; and incense them on the sacrifice altar: ¹⁴ and burn the flesh of the bullock and his skin and his dung with fire outside the camp: it is for the sin. ¹⁵ And take one ram: and Aharon and his sons prop their hands on the head of the ram; ¹⁶ and you slaughter the ram and take his blood and sprinkle it around on the sacrifice altar: ¹⁷ and dismember the members of the ram and baptize his inwards and his legs and give them to his members and to his head: ¹⁸ and incense the whole ram on the sacrifice altar: it is a holocaust to Yah Veh - a scent of rest, a firing to Yah Veh. ¹⁹ And take the second ram: and Aharon and his sons prop their hands on the head of the ram: ²⁰ and you slaughter the ram and take of his blood and give it on the tip of the right ear of Aharon and on the tip of the right ear of his sons and on the great digit of their right hand and on the great digit of their right foot; and sprinkle the blood around on the sacrifice altar: ²¹ and take of the blood on the sacrifice altar and of the anointing oil and sprinkle on Aharon and on his clothes and on his sons and on the clothes of his sons with him: and he and his clothes become hallowed with his sons and the clothes of his sons with him: ²² and of the ram, take the fat and the rump and the fat covering the inwards and the caul above the liver and the two reins and the fat on them and the right hindleg; for it is a ram of fulfillments: ²³ and one round of bread and one bread of oil and one wafer from the basket of the matsah at the face of Yah Veh: ²⁴ and put all in the palms of Aharon and in the palms of his sons; and wave them for a wave at the face of Yah Veh: ²⁵ and take them from their hands and incense them on the sacrifice altar for a holocaust, for a scent of rest at the face of Yah Veh - a firing to Yah Veh. ²⁶ And take the breast of the ram of the fulfillments of Aharon and wave it for a wave at the face of Yah Veh: and it becomes your part. ²⁷ And hallow the breast of the wave and the hindleg of the exaltment, which is waved and which is lifted of the ram of the fulfillments - of that for Aharon and of that for his sons: ²⁸ and it becomes to Aharon and his sons for an eternal statute from the sons of Yisra El - an exaltment: and it becomes an exaltment from the sons of Yisra El of the sacrifice of their shelamim, - their exaltment to Yah Veh. ²⁹ And the holy clothes of Aharon become his sons after him, for anointing therein and to fill their hands therein: ³⁰ and that son who is priest in his stead enrobes them seven days, when he comes into the tent of the congregation to minister in the holies. ³¹ And you take the ram of the fulfillments and stew his flesh in the holies: ³² and Aharon and his sons eat the flesh of the ram and the bread in the basket by the opening of the tent of the congregation: ³³ and they eat those which kapar/atone - to fill their hands and to hallow them: but no stranger eats thereof, because they are holy. ³⁴ And if ought of the flesh of the fulfillments or of the bread remains to the morning, burn what remains with fire: it is not eaten, because it is holy. ³⁵ And thus you work to Aharon and to his sons, according to all I misvah you - seven days you fill their hands: ³⁶ and every day you work a bullock - a kippurim for sin: and you sacrifice for sin on the sacrifice altar when you kapar/atone for it: and you anoint it to hallow it. ³⁷ Seven days you kapar/atone for the sacrifice altar and hallow it; and the fourth of a hin of wine for a libation. ⁴¹ And work the second lamb between evenings and work thereto according to the offering of the morning and according to the libation thereof, for a scent of rest - a firing to Yah Veh ⁴² - a continual holocaust throughout your generations at the opening of the tent of the congregation at the face of Yah Veh: where in congregating, I congregate with you, there to word to you: ⁴³ and there I congregate with the sons of Yisra El; and it becomes hallowed by my honor. ⁴⁴ And I hallow the tent of the congregation and the sacrifice altar: and I hallow Aharon and his sons to priest the priesthood to me: ⁴⁵ and I tabernacle among the sons of Yisra El and become their Elohim: ⁴⁶ and they know that I - Yah Veh their Elohim, brought them from the land of Misrayim, that I tabernacle among them: - I - Yah Veh their Elohim.

And he works the ephod of gold, blue and purple and scarlet and white twined linen. ³ And they expand the gold into sheets and cut it into braids, to work among the blue and among the purple and among the scarlet and among the white linen with fabricated work: ⁴ they work shoulderpieces for it to join - join by the two ends. ⁵ And the fabricated girdle of his ephod is of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue and purple and scarlet and white twined linen; as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ⁶ And they work onyx stones surrounded by brocades of gold, engraved, as engravings of seals, with the names of the sons of Yisra El: ⁷ and he puts them on the shoulders of the ephod - stones for a memorial to the sons of Yisra El; as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ⁸
CONSTRUCTION OF THE BREASTPLATE
And he works the breastplate of fabricated work like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue and purple and scarlet and white twined linen ⁹ - foursquare: they work the breastplate double: a span long and a span wide - doubled: ¹⁰ and they fill in four rows of stones: the first row: a sardius, a topaz and a carbuncle - the first row; ¹¹ and the second row: an emerald, a sapphire and a diamond; ¹² and the third row: an opal, an agate and an amethyst; ¹³ and the fourth row: a beryl, an onyx and a jasper; these are surrounded by brocades of gold in their fillings: ¹⁴ and the stones are according to the names of the sons of Yisra El - twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a seal - every man with his name, according to the twelve scions. ¹⁵ And on the breastplate they work chains of twisted wreathen work of pure gold: ¹⁶ and they work two brocades of gold and two gold signets; and give the two signets in the two ends of the breastplate; ¹⁷ and they give the two wreaths of gold in the two signets on the ends of the breastplate: ¹⁸ and the two ends of the two wreaths they give in the two brocades; and give them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod in front of its face: ¹⁹ and they work two signets of gold and put them on the two ends of the breastplate - on the edge on the side of the ephod housing: ²⁰ and they work two golden signets and give them on the two shoulders of the ephod downward in front of its face, along side its joint, above the fabricated girdle of the ephod. ²¹ And they bind the breastplate by its signets to the signets of the ephod with a braid of blue to be above the fabricated girdle of the ephod: so that the breastplate is not removed from the ephod; as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ²²
CONSTRUCTION OF THE MANTLE
And he works the mantle of the ephod of woven work, totally of blue: ²³ And there is a mouth midst the mantle as the mouth of a habergeon - with an edging around the mouth, that it not rip. ²⁴ And on the drapes of the mantle they work pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet and twined: ²⁵ and they work bells of pure gold and give the bells midst the pomegranates on the drape of the mantle all around midst the pomegranates ²⁶ - a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, all around the drape of the mantle to minister in; as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ²⁷
CONSTRUCTION OF THE TUNIC, TIARA, AND BREECHES
And they work coats of white linen of woven work for Aharon and for his sons; ²⁸ and a tiara of white linen and ornaments of turbans of white linen and linen breeches of white twined linen; ²⁹ and a girdle of white twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet, of embroidery work; as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ³⁰
CONSTRUCTION OF THE BLOSSOM OF THE HOLY SEPARATISM
And they work the blossom of the holy separatism of pure gold and inscribe an inscribing thereon, like the engravings of a seal, HOLY TO YAH VEH. ³¹ And they give thereto a braid of blue, to give it upward on the tiara; as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. ³²
INSPECTION OF THE TABERNACLE
Thus all the service of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation is finished: and the sons of Yisra El work according to all Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh - thus they work. ³³ And they bring the tabernacle to Mosheh, the tent and all its instruments, its hooks, its boards, its bars and its pillars and its sockets, ³⁴ and the covering of reddened skins of rams and the covering of skins of badgers and the veil of the covering; ³⁵ the ark of the witness and its staves and the kapporeth; ³⁶ the table and all its instruments and the face bread; ³⁷ the pure menorah with its lamps - with the lamps to be in rows and all its instruments and the oil for light; ³⁸ and the golden sacrifice altar and the anointing oil and the incense of aromatics; and the covering for the tent opening; ³⁹ the copper sacrifice altar and its screen of copper, its staves and all its instruments, the laver and its base, ⁴⁰ the hangings of the court, its pillars and its sockets and the covering for the court portal, its cords and its stakes and all the service of the tabernacle for the tent of the congregation; ⁴¹ the clothes of stitching to minister in the holies and the holy clothes for Aharon the priest and the clothes of his sons to priest the priesthood. ⁴² According to all Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh, thus the sons of Yisra El work all the service. ⁴³ And Mosheh looks on all the work and behold, they work it as Yah Veh misvahed - thus they work it: and Mosheh blesses them.

PATTERN FOR THE PRIESTAL CLOTHES

PATTERN FOR THE EPHOD
And they take gold and blue and purple and scarlet and white linen: ⁶ and they work the ephod of gold, blue and purple, and scarlet and white twined linen, with fabricated work. ⁷ It joins the two shoulderpieces at their two ends; and so be it joined. ⁸ And the fabricated girdle of the ephod thereon is of the same according to its work - of gold, blue and purple and scarlet and white twined linen. ⁹ And take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Yisra El: ¹⁰ six of their names on one stone and their six remaining names on the second stone according to their generations ¹¹ - with the work of an engraver in stone, as the engravings of a seal, engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Yisra El: work them, surrounded by brocades of gold: ¹² and put the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial to the sons of Yisra El: and Aharon bears their names on his two shoulders for a memorial at the face of Yah Veh: ¹³ and work brocades of gold; ¹⁴ and two chains of pure gold at the ends; work them of wreathen work and give the wreathen chains to the brocades. ¹⁵
PATTERN FOR THE BREASTPLATE OF JUDGMENT
And work the breastplate of judgment with fabricated work; work it after the work of the ephod: work it of gold, blue and purple and scarlet and white twined linen ¹⁶ - foursquare, being doubled; a span its length and a span its width: ¹⁷ and fill in fillings of stones - four rows of stones: a row of sardius, topaz and carbuncle - the first row; ¹⁸ and the second row: emerald, sapphire and diamond; ¹⁹ and the third row: opal, agate and amethyst; ²⁰ and the fourth row: beryl and onyx and jasper - embroidered in gold in their fillings. ²¹ And the stones, according to the names of the sons of Yisra El, twelve, according to their names as the engravings of a seal; - every man with his name according to the twelve scions. ²² And on the breastplate work twisted chains of wreathen work of pure gold: ²³ and on the breastplate work two signets of gold and give the two signets on the two ends of the breastplate: ²⁴ and give the two wreaths of gold in the two signets on the ends of the breastplate: ²⁵ and give the two ends of the two wreaths in the two brocades; and give them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod at the face of the front: ²⁶ and work two signets of gold and put them on the two ends of the breastplate in the edge over against the ephod housing: ²⁷ and work two signets of gold and give them on the two shoulders of the ephod downward - at the face of the front along side the joint above the fabricated girdle of the ephod. ²⁸ And they bind the breastplate by its signets to the signets of the ephod with a braid of blue, so that it be above the fabricated girdle of the ephod and so that the breastplate be not removed from the ephod. ²⁹ And Aharon bears the names of the sons of Yisra El in the breastplate of judgment on his heart when he goes in to the holies for a memorial at the face of Yah Veh continually. ³⁰ And you give in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they be on the heart of Aharon, when he goes in at the face of Yah Veh: and Aharon bears the judgment of the sons of Yisra El on his heart at the face of Yah Veh continually. ³¹
PATTERN FOR THE EPHOD MANTLE
And work the mantle of the ephod totally of blue. ³² And a mouth be in the top, in the middle: with an edging of woven work all around its mouth - as the mouth of a habergeon, so that it not rip. ³³ And on the drape, work pomegranates of blue and of purple and of scarlet around the drape; and bells of gold among and around them ³⁴ - a golden bell and a pomegranate a golden bell and a pomegranate around the drape of the mantle. ³⁵ And so be it on Aharon to minister: that his voice be heard when he goes in to the holies at the face of Yah Veh and when he comes out, that he die not. ³⁶
PATTERN FOR THE TIARA
And work a blossom of pure gold and engrave thereon as the engravings of a seal, HOLY TO YAH VEH. ³⁷ And put it on a blue braid, that it be on the tiara; at the face of the front of the tiara, so be it. ³⁸ And so be it on the forehead of Aharon - so that Aharon bears the perversity of the holies which the sons of Yisra El hallow in all their holy gifts; and so be it continually on his forehead, that they be pleasing at the face of Yah Veh. ³⁹ And embroider the coat of white linen and work the tiara of white linen and work the girdle of embroidery work. ⁴⁰ And work coats for the sons of Aharon and work girdles for them and work turbans for them for honor and for adornment. ⁴¹ And put them on Aharon your brother and his sons with him; and anoint them and fill their hand and hallow them, to priest the priesthood to me. ⁴² And work them linen breeches to cover the flesh of their nakedness; reaching from the loins even to the flank: ⁴³ and so be they on Aharon and on his sons when they come in the tent of the congregation or when they come near the sacrifice altar to minister in the holies; that they not bear perversity and die. - an eternal statute to him and his seed after him.
