1 Kings 12:6-19

6 and sovereign Rechab Am counsels with the elders who had stood at the face of Shelomoh his father while he yet lived, saying, How counsel you, that I return word to this people? 7 And they word to him, saying, If you are a servant to this people this day and serve them and answer them and word good words to them, then they become your servants all days. 8 And he forsakes the counsel the elders counsel him; and counsels with the children who grew up with him - who stand at his face: 9 and he says to them, What counsel give you that we return word to this people, who word to me, saying, Swiften the yoke your father gave on us? 10 And the children who grew up with him word to him, saying, Say thus to this people who word to you, saying, Your father made our yoke heavy, but swiften it to us - word to them thus, My pinky is thicker than the loins of my father! 11 And now, whereas my father loaded you with a heavy yoke, I add to your yoke: my father disciplined you with whips; and I - I discipline you with scorpions. 12 So Yarob Am and all the people come to Rechab Am the third day as the sovereign worded, saying, Return to me the third day: 13 and the sovereign answers the people hard and forsakes the counsel the elders counsel him; 14 and words to them after the counsel of the children, saying, My father made your yoke heavy and I - I add to your yoke: my father disciplined you with whips, and I - I discipline you with scorpions. 15 And the sovereign hearkens not to the people; for the revolution is from Yah Veh to raise his word which Yah Veh worded by the hand of Achiy Yah the Shilohiy to Yarob Am the son of Nebat. 16
THE SOVEREIGNDOM DIVIDED
And all Yisra El sees that the sovereign hearkens not to them, and the people return word to the sovereign, saying, What allotment have we in David? Yes, there is no inheritance in the son of Yishay: to your tents, O Yisra El! Now see to your own house, O David. - and Yisra El goes to their tents. 17 As for the sons of Yisra El who settle in the cities of Yah Hudah, Rechab Am reigns over them: 18 and sovereign Rechab Am sends Adoni Ram who is over the vassal; and all Yisra El stones him with stones, that he dies: and sovereign Rechab Am strengthens himself to ascend to his chariot to flee to Yeru Shalem. 19 and Yisra El rebels against the house of David to this day.

Proverbs 16:1-33

1 The arrangements of the heart are from humanity; and the answer of the tongue is from Yah Veh. 2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes; and Yah Veh gauges the spirits. 3 Roll your works unto Yah Veh and your fabrications are established. 4 Yah Veh made all to answer to him; yes, even the wicked for the day of evil. 5 The lofty heart is an abhorrence to Yah Veh; hand by hand he is not exonerated. 6 By mercy and truth iniquity kapars/atones; and by the awe of Yah Veh evil turns aside. 7 When the ways of man please Yah Veh, even his enemies shalam him. 8 Better, a little with justness than great produce without judgment. 9 The human heart fabricates his way; and Yah Veh establishes his pace. 10 Divination is in the lips of the sovereign; his mouth treasons not in judgment. 11 A just weight and balance are of Yah Veh; all the stones of the pouch are his work. 12 It is an abhorrence for sovereigns to work wickedness; for the throne is established by justness. 13 Lips of justness are the pleasure of sovereigns; and they love him who words straight. 14 The fury of a sovereign is as angels of death; and a wise man kapars/atones. 15 In the light of the face of the sovereign is life; and his pleasure is as a thick cloud of the after rain. 16 To chattelize wisdom; how much better than ore! and to chattelize discernment to be chosen above silver! 17 The highway of the straight is to turn aside from evil; he who guards his way guards his soul. 18 Pomp is at the face of the breech and a lifted spirit is at the face of the stumble. 19 Better, a lowly spirit with the humble, than to allot the spoil with the pompous. 20 He who handles a word comprehendingly finds good; and whoever confides in Yah Veh, O how blithe. 21 The wise in heart is called, Discerning; and the sweetness of the lips increases doctrine. 22 Comprehension is a fountain of life to its master; and the discipline of fools is folly. 23 The heart of the wise comprehends his mouth and adds doctrine to his lips. 24 Pleasant sayings are as a honeycomb - sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. 25 There is a straight way, at the face of man; and its finality, the ways of death. 26 The soul of the toiler toils for himself for the craving of his mouth: 27 a man of Beli Yaal digs evil; and in his lips, as an inflamed fire: 28 a man of perversions sends strife; and a whisperer separates chiliarchs: 29 a man of violence entices his friend and walks him into the way - not good: 30 He shuts his eyes to fabricate perversions; bites his lips to conclude evil. 31 Greyness is a crown of beauty found in the way of justness. 32 Better, slow to wrath, than mighty; - to reign over the spirit, than to capture a city. 33 The pebble is cast into the bosom; and all judgment is of Yah Veh.

Proverbs 12:15
