³ And he said: Lord, if I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away from thy servant.

¹¹ And the Lord will give thee rest continually, and will fill thy soul with brightness, and deliver thy bones, and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a fountain of water whose waters shall not fail.

³¹ Be not solicitous therefore, saying: What shall we eat: or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we be clothed? ³² For after all these things do the heathens seek. For your Father knoweth that you have need of all these things. ³³ Seek ye therefore first the kingdom of God, and his justice, and all these things shall be added unto you.

⁵² And Jesus advanced in wisdom and age and grace with God and men.

⁸ For by grace you are saved through faith: and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God. ⁹ Not of works, that no man may glory.

⁸ But Noe found grace before the Lord.

^{5 (30:6)} For wrath is in his indignation; and life in his good will. In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness.

¹¹ In whom we also are called by lot, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things according to the counsel of his will.

^{11 (84:12)} For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.

¹⁷ And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: and direct thou the works of our hands over us; yea, the work of our hands do thou direct.

^{12 (5:13)} For thou wilt bless the just. O Lord, thou hast crowned us, as with a shield of thy good will.
