¹⁸ And Jesus coming up spoke to them, saying, All power has been given me in heaven and upon earth. ¹⁹ Go [therefore] and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have enjoined you. And behold, *I* am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.

⁴ Hear, Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah; ⁵ and thou shalt love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength. ⁶ And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart; ⁷ and thou shalt impress them on thy sons, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou goest on the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. ⁸ And thou shalt bind them for a sign on thy hand, and they shall be for frontlets between thine eyes. ⁹ And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and upon thy gates.

¹³ Till I come, give thyself to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.

² proclaim the word; be urgent in season [and] out of season, convict, rebuke, encourage, with all longsuffering and doctrine.

¹ Be not many teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive greater judgment.

²³ But foolish and senseless questionings avoid, knowing that they beget contentions. ²⁴ And a bondman of [the] Lord ought not to contend, but be gentle towards all; apt to teach; forbearing; ²⁵ in meekness setting right those who oppose, if God perhaps may sometime give them repentance to acknowledgment of [the] truth, ²⁶ and that they may awake up out of the snare of the devil, [who are] taken by him, for *his* will.

¹⁶ Every scripture [is] divinely inspired, and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; ¹⁷ that the man of God may be complete, fully fitted to every good work.
