¹⁸ Let thy fountain be blessed; and have joy of the wife of thy youth. ¹⁹ As a lovely hind and a graceful roe, let her breasts satisfy thee at all times: be thou ravished continually with her love.

⁶ For the mind of the flesh [is] death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace.

¹ I made a covenant with mine eyes; and how should I fix my regard upon a maid?

⁷ Subject yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

⁴ [Let] marriage [be held] every way in honour, and the bed [be] undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.

¹⁶ But I say, Walk in [the] Spirit, and ye shall no way fulfil flesh`s lust.

⁵ Defraud not one another, unless, it may be, by consent for a time, that ye may devote yourselves to prayer, and again be together, that Satan tempt you not because of your incontinency.

¹ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your intelligent service. ² And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of [your] mind, that ye may prove what [is] the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

³ But fornication and all uncleanness or unbridled lust, let it not be even named among you, as it becomes saints;

⁹ Do ye not know that unrighteous [persons] shall not inherit [the] kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor abusive persons, nor [the] rapacious, shall inherit [the] kingdom of God.

⁵ Put to death therefore your members which [are] upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, vile passions, evil lust, and unbridled desire, which is idolatry.

⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us [our] sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

¹⁵ For that which I do, I do not own: for not what I will, this I do; but what I hate, this I practise. ¹⁶ But if what I do not will, this I practise, I consent to the law that [it is] right. ¹⁷ Now then [it is] no longer *I* [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me. ¹⁸ For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is there with me, but to do right [I find] not. ¹⁹ For I do not practise the good that I will; but the evil I do not will, that I do. ²⁰ But if what *I* do not will, this I practise, [it is] no longer *I* [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me. ²¹ I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there. ²² For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man:

¹⁴ But every one is tempted, drawn away, and enticed by his own lust; ¹⁵ then lust, having conceived, gives birth to sin; but sin fully completed brings forth death.

²⁸ But *I* say unto you, that every one who looks upon a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may practise is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.

³ For this is [the] will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication; ⁴ that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honour, ⁵ (not in passionate desire, even as the nations who know not God,)
