¹¹ And Asa cried unto Jehovah his God, and said, Jehovah, it maketh no difference to thee to help, whether there be much or no power: help us, O Jehovah our God, for we rely on thee, and in thy name have we come against this multitude. Jehovah, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.

¹⁷ [The righteous] cry, and Jehovah heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

¹⁶ And I will beg the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,

¹⁸ There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has torment, and he that fears has not been made perfect in love.

⁴ Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.

⁵ Commit thy way unto Jehovah, and rely upon him: he will bring [it] to pass;

⁷ Jehovah is for me among them that help me; and I shall see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

¹ {A Song of degrees.} I lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: whence shall my help come? ² My help [cometh] from Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth. ³ He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; he that keepeth thee will not slumber. ⁴ Behold, he that keepeth Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. ⁵ Jehovah is thy keeper, Jehovah is thy shade upon thy right hand; ⁶ The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. ⁷ Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; he will keep thy soul. ⁸ Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth and for evermore.

¹⁴ If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

⁵ Confide in Jehovah with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own intelligence; ⁶ in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will make plain thy paths.

³⁵ Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense.

¹⁴ Jehovah will fight for you, and ye shall be still.

¹⁰ -- Fear not, for I [am] with thee; be not dismayed, for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
