¹ And it came to pass that when the people murmured, it was evil in the ears of Jehovah; and Jehovah heard it, and his anger was kindled, and the fire of Jehovah burned among them, and consumed [some] in the extremity of the camp. ² And the people cried to Moses; and Moses prayed to Jehovah -- and the fire abated. ³ And they called the name of that place Taberah; because a fire of Jehovah burned among them. ⁴ And the mixed multitude that was among them lusted; and the children of Israel also wept again and said, Who will give us flesh to eat?

²⁵ But murmured in their tents: they hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah.

² And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of [your] mind, that ye may prove what [is] the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

¹⁴ Do all things without murmurings and reasonings, ¹⁵ that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world, ¹⁶ holding forth [the] word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ`s day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.

¹² So that, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, ¹³ for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure. ¹⁴ Do all things without murmurings and reasonings, ¹⁵ that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world, ¹⁶ holding forth [the] word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ`s day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.

¹¹ Not that I speak as regards privation, for as to me *I* have learnt in those circumstances in which I am, to be satisfied in myself. ¹² I know both how to be abased and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I am initiated both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer privation.

¹⁴ Do all things without murmurings and reasonings, ¹⁵ that ye may be harmless and simple, irreproachable children of God in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation; among whom ye appear as lights in [the] world,

⁸ And Moses said, When Jehovah gives you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for Jehovah hears your murmurings which ye murmur against him ... and what [are] we? your murmurings are not against us, but against Jehovah.

⁹ Complain not one against another, brethren, that ye be not judged. Behold, the judge stands before the door.

¹⁸ in everything give thanks, for this is [the] will of God in Christ Jesus towards you;

¹⁰ Neither murmur ye, as some of them murmured, and perished by the destroyer.

⁹ hospitable one to another, without murmuring;

²⁹ Let no corrupt word go out of your mouth, but if [there be] any good one for needful edification, that it may give grace to those that hear [it].
