¹⁰ I Jehovah search the heart, I try the reins, even to give each one according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

³ But why lookest thou on the mote that is in the eye of thy brother, but observest not the beam that is in thine eye? ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Allow [me], I will cast out the mote from thine eye; and behold, the beam is in thine eye? ⁵ Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to cast out the mote out of the eye of thy brother.

⁴⁷ But that bondman who knew his own lord`s will, and had not prepared [himself] nor done his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes]; ⁴⁸ but he who knew [it] not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few. And to every one to whom much has been given, much shall be required from him; and to whom [men] have committed much, they will ask from him the more.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in the least is faithful also in much; and he that is unrighteous in the least is unrighteous also in much. ¹¹ If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who shall entrust to you the true? ¹² and if ye have not been faithful in that which is another`s, who shall give to you your own?

⁹ Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. ¹⁰ For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and who hath not another to lift him up! ¹¹ Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one alone be warm? ¹² And if a [man] overpower the one, the two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. ¹³ And there is not a creature unapparent before him; but all things [are] naked and laid bare to his eyes, with whom we have to do.

³⁶ But I say unto you, that every idle word which men shall say, they shall render an account of it in judgment-day: ³⁷ for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

¹⁷ Iron is sharpened by iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

³ Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother should sin, rebuke him; and if he should repent, forgive him.

¹⁶ Confess therefore your offences to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. [The] fervent supplication of the righteous [man] has much power.

¹¹ Wherefore encourage one another, and build up each one the other, even as also ye do.

¹² So then each of us shall give an account concerning himself to God.

¹ Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest *thou* also be tempted. ² Bear one another`s burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ. ³ For if any man reputes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself; ⁴ but let each prove his own work, and then he will have his boast in what belongs to himself alone, and not in what belongs to another. ⁵ For each shall bear his own burden.
