Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. 1 Peter 4:1-6

1 Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God. 3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what the Gentiles like to do, living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and lawless idolatry. 4 In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they abuse you; 5 but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this reason the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they might live in the spirit according to the will of God. 7 The end of all things is near; therefore be clear minded and sober for your prayers.

Romans 13:13-14

13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

Ephesians 5:18

18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,

Titus 2:1-8

1 But as for you, teach what befits sound doctrine. 2 The older men are to be temperate, serious, sensible, sound in faith, in love, and in endurance. 3 The older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not to be slanderers or slaves to much wine, but they are to teach what is good, 4 so they can train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. 6 Likewise urge the young men to be sensible. 7 Show yourself in all respects an example of good deeds, and in your teaching show integrity, seriousness, 8 and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

1 Peter 5:8

8 Be sober, be alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
