²³ for a sin of divination [is] rebellion, and iniquity and teraphim [is] stubbornness; because you have rejected the word of Yahweh, He also does reject you from [being] king..

³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards."

⁶ They have seen vanity, and lying divination, Who are saying:An affirmation of Yahweh, And Yahweh has not sent them, And they have hoped to establish a word." ⁷ A vain vision have you not seen, And a lying divination spoken, When you say:An affirmation of Yahweh, And I have not spoken? ⁸ Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Because you have spoken vanity, and seen a lie, Therefore, lo, I [am] against you, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh." ⁹ And My hand has been on the prophets, Who are seeing vanity, and who are divining a lie, In the assembly of My people they are not, And in the writing of the house of Israel they are not written, And unto the ground of Israel they come not, And you have known that I [am] the Lord Yahweh."

²⁷ Answering is Daniel before the king and saying, "The secret which the king is asking, not the wise men, the magi, the sacred scribes, nor the hieromancers can disclose to the king."

¹² I cut off enchantments from your hand, and cloud consulters shall not be among you."

²⁰ idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousies, furies, factions, dissensions, sects, ²¹ envies, murders, drunkennesses, revelries, and the like of these, which, I am predicting to you, according as I predicted also, that those committing such things shall not be enjoying the allotment of the kingdom of God."

⁶ As for the soul who should countenance mediums and wizards to prostitute after them, I will set My face against that soul also and cut him off from among his people.

²⁷ A man or a woman, in case there is a medium or a wizard among them, they shall be put to death, yea death. With stones shall they pelt them; their bloodguilt is on them.

¹³ And Saul dies because of his trespass that he trespassed against Yahweh, against the word of Yahweh that he kept not, and also for asking at a familiar spirit--to inquire, -.

⁶ And he has caused his sons to pass over through fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and observed clouds and used enchantments and witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and a wizard; he has multiplied to do the evil thing in the eyes of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger.

⁹ Yet, before this, a certain man named Simon existed in the city by using magic and amazing the nation of Samaria, saying himself to be some great one,

²⁰ idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousies, furies, factions, dissensions, sects,

⁹ whose presence is in accord with the operation of Satan, with all power and signs and false miracles"

¹⁹ And in case they shall say to you, "Inquire of the mediums, and of the ventriloquists, and of the wizards, the chirpers and the cooers,Should not a people of its Elohim inquire? Who inquires about the living of the dead?

¹⁸ You shall not let an enchantress live.

¹⁹ Now apparent are the works of the flesh, which are adultery, prostitution, uncleanness, wantonness, ²⁰ idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousies, furies, factions, dissensions, sects, ²¹ envies, murders, drunkennesses, revelries, and the like of these, which, I am predicting to you, according as I predicted also, that those committing such things shall not be enjoying the allotment of the kingdom of God."

³¹ Do not countenance mediums and wizards; do not seek them out to be defiled by them:I, Yahweh am your Elohim.
