¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ The decadent one says in his heart, There is no Elohim. They have become corrupt and abhorrent with iniquitous deeds. There is no one doing good."

³ A whip for a horse, a bit for a donkey, And a club for the body of the stupid." ⁴ Do not answer a stupid man according to his folly, Lest you should become equal to him, even you." ⁵ Answer a stupid man according to his folly, Lest he should become wise in his own eyes." ⁶ He cuts away his feet, drinks violence, Who sends words by the hand of a stupid person." ⁷ The legs of a lame man are impoverished; So also a proverb in the mouth of the stupid. ⁸ Like tying up a stone in a slingshot, So is the giving of glory to the stupid one." ⁹ As a thistle comes up to the hand of a drunkard, So also a proverb to the mouth of the stupid." ¹⁰ Much travails forth all the more, Yet the hire of the stupid person and his hirer shall pass away." ¹¹ As a cur returns to its vomit, So a stupid man repeats his folly." ¹² Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? ⁷ The mouth of a stupid man is his undoing, And his lips are a trap for his soul."

²³ To the stupid one it is like sport to commit crime, Yet it is like venom to a man of comprehension."

⁷ Walk aloof from a stupid man, For you will never become acquainted with lips of knowledge there." ⁸ The wisdom of the prudent man is to give consideration to his way, Yet the folly of the stupid is self-deceit." ⁹ Every fool mocks at a guilt offering, Yet among the upright is approval."

²⁸ Even a fool who keeps silence is reckoned wise; He who closes up his lips has understanding.

¹⁶ A wise man is fearing and withdrawing from evil, Yet the stupid one is congenial and trusting to it."

¹ Remind them to be subject to sovereignties, to authorities; to be yielding, and to be ready for every good work, ² to be calumniating no one, to be pacific, lenient, displaying all meekness toward all humanity." ³ For we also were once foolish, stubborn, deceived, slaves of various desires and gratifications, leading a life in malice and envy, detestable, hating one another." ⁴ Yet when the kindness and fondness for humanity of our Saviour, God, made its advent, ⁵ not for works which are wrought in righteousness which we do, but according to His mercy, He saves us, through the bath of renascence and renewal of holy spirit, ⁶ which He pours out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Saviour, ⁷ that, being justified in that One's grace, we may be becoming enjoyers, in expectation, of the allotment of life eonian." ⁸ Faithful is the saying, and I am intending you to be insistent concerning these things, that those who have believed God may be concerned to preside for ideal acts. These things are ideal and beneficial for humanity." ⁹ Yet stand aloof from stupid questioning and genealogies and strifes and fightings about law, for they are without benefit and vain." ¹⁰ A sectarian man, after one and a second admonition, refuse, ¹¹ being aware that such a one has turned himself out, and is sinning, being self-condemned."

²⁶ He who trusts in his own heart is stupid, Yet he who walks in wisdom shall escape from harm."

²² Yet I am saying to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to the judging. Yet whoever may be saying to his brother, 'Raka!' shall be liable to the Sanhedrin. Yet whoever may be saying, 'Stupid!' shall be liable to the Gehenna of fire.

⁶ The lips of a stupid man bring him into contention, And his mouth calls for beatings."

⁹ If a wise man seeks judgment with a foolish man, Then the fool rants and ridicules, and there is no rest."

¹⁹ So is the man who deceives his associate And then says, Did I not make good sport?

¹¹ A stupid man speaks forth all his spirit of anger, Yet a wise one becalms it back."

⁷ The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; The foolish despise wisdom and discipline.

² The stupid man does not delight in comprehension, But rather in exposing his heart to others."
